Villa Ayahora is located in the heart of the Kalinago Territory, along Segment 6 of the Waitukubuli National Trail, adjacent to the Kalinago Barana Auté. This traditional space is set in a lush tropical garden, with a variety of fruit trees and nestled into the rugged, windswept Atlantic coastline.
Villa Ayahora is beautifully designed and constructed primarily out of local lumber with a Kalinago vernacular. The building consists of two floors. The upstairs floor has two bedrooms, the master bedroom features a King bed with en-suite bathroom and private patio with amazing ocean views. The second bedroom has a queen bed and en-suite bathroom with stunning ocean and garden views. There is a large living room with work space and cozy TV room with a 55-inch smart TV. There is also a dinning room for 8, with a mini refrigerator and coffee/tea nook.
The downstairs floor has a private bedroom with queen bed and en-suite
bathroom. There is a spacious kitchen with all amenities such as refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle etc. An expansive wrap around veranda with spectacular ocean and garden views features a unique dinning space, four poster double bed for outdoor sleeping or just relaxing, comfortable sitting and a full bathroom with garden shower.

Guest can walk our trails and access our seaside pool. They can tour the world famous Kalinago Barana Aute, just a five (5) minute walk and explore the Kalinago Territory which is the only indigenous community of its type in the Caribbean. To enhance your vacation experience, we encourage our guests to hike, go whale watching and diving. We would be delighted to organize island tours, hiking, special interest eco explorations or any of your select land and water-based adventures.

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. The house matched the description, we enjoyed evenings on the large veranda, surrounded by a vibrant garden and a beautiful view of the sea. The house was clean, modern, and comfortable (with strong WiFi). What made this trip so special was Nichi’s incredible hospitality. He helped make our first trip to Dominica seamless- organizing excursions, showing us the garden and grounds, helping us navigate the island and recommending some beautiful places to visit. Breakfast and dinner at the house were delicious and plentiful. Nichi has created something very special, we can’t wait to visit again.

Great views. Sleeping with the sound of the ocean was heaven. Beautiful home with great living spaces and bedrooms. The kitchen is on the lower level below with stairs that are little steep but leads to a gorgeous covered deck. We never found the tidal pool in the pictures.

AMAZING! Nichi could not have been more friendly or helpful. One of a kind place and host. Beautiful place, inside and out, with tons of character. We even saw humpback whales from the deck that overlooks the bay. Incredible location, complete with a private swimming hole, friendly neighbors who gave me a fist bump on my morning walks, and a delicious fish meal provided by Nichi on our first night. We didn't want to leave this unique place and island.

The villa and its location were everything we could have imagined. Surrounded in tropical beauty, fruit trees and herbs ready to he picked from the verandas, whales frolicking in the Atlantic while we ate breakfast, pelicans entertained us with aerial acrobatics… Pure magic.. Nichie and the Kalanago people made us feel at home.
