The Wheelhouse

Amazing location with a lovely harbour view from the window. The room had everything we needed for a short stay, including small toiletries such as shampoo and shower gel. It’s a very good price for what you get and the parking is included too (8 mins walk from the property).

We had asked in advance whether there was a fridge in the room, and if not, whether we could have one, as we were travelling from far away and had a birthday cake that needed to be kept refrigerated. We were provided with a fridge, which we really appreciated, but unfortunately it was so small that only a small bottle of water or a can of drink could fit inside. As a result, we had to throw the cake away, which was disappointing. The room and bathroom are quite small, so there is a little logistical inconvenience when getting ready or moving things around. However, if you’re only staying for one/two nights, it’s absolutely fine.

The Wheelhouse was right in the harbour over looking its beautiful scenery. The one bed room was spotless with a lovely bathroom

I didn’t dislike anything

Location

Lack of storage space, no shelves or drawers in the room so had to leave our clothes in our case. If the case hadn’t been able to fit under the bed there was insufficient floor space to put the case anywhere.
