Casa Primavera

We stopped there for one night on our way back from our holidays in France. The place was easy to find and the parking space was well protected. Bergamo is a great place and we visited the old city by car using one of the many parking garages in the city. The old city is amazing. The apartment met all our expectations for our one night stay and the communication with the host was also very good.

It was very clean. The pictures were depicting the house as it really was. For the weather in Bergamo in the end of June on a heatwave, having an AC was amazing.

The flat is spacious and quite comfortable. The owner was very helpful. I received clear instructions on how to collect the keys, which was very useful. There’s a church and a school in the neighbourhood, so if you’re only coming here to sleep, this isn’t the place for you, as it’s quite noisy. But if you’re in Bergamo to sighsee, it’s just right. Small bottles of water were provided, which was helpful after a long journey. There was also coffee and spices available in the flat, which makes it easy to prepare breakfast.

Unfortunately, the bed creaked so much that we’d wake ourselves up just by rolling over. There was no Wi-Fi for the first two days, which unfortunately affected my work. However, the owner rose to the challenge and very quickly arranged a new internet connection.

It was dark, smelled bad, the furniture was old, old cupboards, the bath was dated and the shower space was small and uncomfortable.
