Apartment Delight City

Ein wunderbares Appartement mit der sehr sehr lieben Gastgeberin Mia, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Lage ist sehr ruhig, in wenigen Schritten ist man jedoch im Zentrum. Die große Terrasse umgeben von Gärten ist ein Traum, im oberen Stockwerk kleine Küche und Sitz-Lounge mit großen Türen zur Terrasse. Sehr gut ausgestattet, alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Die Einrichtung ist sehr modern und geschmackvoll. Sehr sauber. Sehr lieb auch die vorgekühlten Getränke und die Flasche Wein im Kühlschrank ! Der reservierte Parkplatz ist etwas 7 Gehminuten entfernt, das ist ok. Wenn möglich kommen wir sehr gerne wieder.

Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoß mit nur 2 kleinen Fenstern im Eingangsbereich, Bad/WC neben dem Bett, alles etwas eng und klein, Badezimmer ohne Tageslicht (was für mich persönlich sehr wichtig ist), hat man am Foto leider nicht gesehen. Aber alles andere macht das in jedem Fall wett. Das ist natürlich Jammern auf hohem Niveau, die Beschaffenheit der alten Häuser lässt hier nicht viel Spielraum - wer etwas authentisches sucht ist hier jedenfalls richtig. Der Weg zum Appartement über ein grünes Tor führt in einen Innenhof an 2 weiteren Wohnungen vorbei, hier steht leider jede Menge Klumpat herum, da möchte man am liebsten alles wegräumen und in den Müll schmeissen, aber dafür kann natürlich Mia nichts !

The upstairs (kitchenette, small living area and patio) were all excellent and very well equipped with everything we needed, and beautifully decorated. We especially loved the patio. The location was great, in the heart of the old town, but in a quieter spot, so we didn’t get the usual noise that you sometimes have when you’re in the town. Host was very responsive and helpful. Made good recommendations - dinner at the place she recommended was one of the best on our trip.

The bedroom/bathroom area was small (but otherwise well equipped), with little space between the bed and the wall on one side, so that was a little awkward. We realize that a decision had to be made weighing bed size and space available for the bed, so we understand the dilemma. The bed itself was very comfortable. We weren’t able to check in until just after 7:00 due to miscommunication between host and us. We made it work, but would have liked to get in and get settled earlier, and wished we had asked if there was someone else who could let us in earlier.

Very nice apartment furnished with love and with care for every detail. The terrace overlooking the inner courtyard feels like a little paradise, a corner of peace in the middle of the city centre. The location is great, just a stone's throw from the harbour and the old town. Mia is a very kind and friendly hostess.
