The room was very pleasant, except it was col and took a long time to warm up. It was nicely furnished with heritage items, and the electric blanket was very welcome. There were some lovely gardens surrounding the house.
The breakfast was very hit and miss, no fresh milk only uht milk was available, very few condiments to top the toast, only instant coffee, dubious looking apples in a fridge and a little cereal . The breakfast room was cold. The house had some lovely common areas with fireplaces, but no welcoming fires, all were cold.
