Avatel Eco Lodge

We were looking for a quiet hotel with a private beach away from crowds and noise, and the Avatel was exactly it. The hotel is located in a very green beautiful area, away from the city. -The main advantage for us was the picturesque little beach. The sea water was crystal clear, very still and also very warm in the second part of June. The beach is a mixture of sand and pebble, the entrance to the sea is covered with small pebbles, but it wasn’t a problem for us, although some people were using swimming shoes. Also if you walk few min to the left, you can find a beach with sandy bottom. The path to the beach is very picturesque too, mostly shady, so not too difficult to walk in the heat. -Another advantage of this hotel is a very friendly service with a personal touch, truly on 5* level.The staff is very attentive, especially Yulia who is truly going an extra mile being attentive to all guests. But I would also like to mention Xenia, Alina, Nadia, Natalia, the Ukrainian cleaning lady (Valentina, if I am not mistaken). - Good quality of room cleaning - great food in the restaurant and the cosy setting of the restaurant itself - SAP rent on affordable price -The view from the balcony was just amazing. To summarise: despite few minor cons I listed below, it is a place to be back, for sure

- the quality of breakfast was disappointing for a 4* hotel, it was more a 3* level. The choice of food is very limited and options are basic. The breakfast area is rather small and there are no tables outside,which is pity for a seaside location.If I could suggest one point of improvement, it would be coffee: the filter coffee provided was always rather diluted. Having a coffee machine instead would be great. - the last 800m to the hotel is an unpaved road going downhill, with no lighting. Driving after sunset felt pretty adventurous. -the downside of the hotel’s quiet location is that you kind of depend on the car. Walking to the town is possible, but not too easy -be sure to take some mosquito protection

This place was really great. The ambient and setting is very quiet and you could hear the birds singing day and night. We really liked the staff they were extremely helpful and friendly, a big thank you to all of the staff, Marietta, Yulia, Nadia, Eleni, Xenia and Alina who made sure we had the best experience possible.

I would recommend Avatel Eco Lodge for its great location and amazing staff. We were very well cared during our stay. Julia was very friendly, extremely helpful with recommendations and positive attitude. The girls from the restaurant were always smiling and very polite. The view from the hotel was spectacular and all you hear is the sea and birds 🫶We definitely will come back!

The view, the simplicity and the clear room

160 steps and steep slopes to the small littered pebble beach. I do not advise elderly customers or those with problems walking to stay in the lodge. For five out of six days stay we had problems with AC which was fixed only the last day- the temperature was around 35. In the positive side - the girls at the service department were always smiling and ready to help. and at the restaurant I had probably the best fish soup in my life.
