Avatel Eco Lodge

Very nice, calm, perfect for a family with kids but also nice for couples. The breakfast was the perfect fuel for the day and we relaxed and charged our batteries at the accommodation. Daria was very nice and friendly, talented towel sculptor:) Yulia also made every day start with energy and good vibes.

My Overall score 10 is only because of the receptionist lady Yulia (please excuse me if I didn't get the spelling right). She was working at the reception desk when we arrived on 21st of AUG'26. (my last experience with hospitality staff/concierge is the Conrad in LA before this short travel to Khalkidhiki) She is a very well mannered hospitality professional that handled the situation professionally, (unlikely the lady introduced as GM of the hotel - please get some experience with customer care). Situation was - us paying for two rooms that not even, were not connected, (family of 4 with 5 year-old and 1-year-old) furthermore, they were on different floors way apart one from another. Of course - we didn't occupy one of the rooms as we fit in one of them. My direct feedback to Booking as well: please do not sell family accommodation unless explicitly stated that in more than 1 rooms situation - rooms are not connected. Property itself is a good value for money and adequate to the star rating and expectations, with available parking space, nice breakfast and 500 steps (down and up) to the beach trough a small forest. Beach is eco as branded - small, wild and with huge stones in the shallow so consider a special gear for entry, not really adequate for small children and be sure to have mosquito defense sprays or whatever one uses. Overall this was a great experience and thank you Yulia (receptionist lady), once again, for making it happen.

The property has a great location, surounded with trees and in front of the sea

Everything was great

160 steps and steep slopes to the small littered pebble beach. I do not advise elderly customers or those with problems walking to stay in the lodge. For five out of six days stay we had problems with AC which was fixed only the last day- the temperature was around 35. In the positive side - the girls at the service department were always smiling and ready to help. and at the restaurant I had probably the best fish soup in my life.
