Our hosts were just lovely and very helpful. We were running a bit later that expected to check-in and when we arrived they were waiting at the steps to greet us. The apartment is well equipped with a small but full kitchen, dining table, chairs and lounge. There is a balcony and a separate bedroom with ensuite bathroom. There is a supermarket less than 10 minutes walk and the town centre was maybe a 15 minute walk. There is no elevator in the building so we had to carry the luggage up the stairs to the apartment but our lovely kind hosts helped us with the luggage which was really appreciated. The apartment felt secure and had everything we needed for our two week stay.

The fold out lounge is not particularly comfortable but pillows helped. While the location is maybe a 15 minute walk from the train station, it is a steep hill to return to the station with luggage and Taxi's are scarce in Desenzano. There are bus stops near the apartment to get you back to the station if required. Just a suggestion, perhaps the towels should be replaced.

Very comfortable flat in a quiet residential location just 10 minutes walk from the train station and 5-10 minutes walk from a large variety of restaurants and bars and the lake transportation. Nice shower with comfortable bed and enough cupboard space for clothes. It benefits from a balcony to sit out on as well. Good communication from Paola.

Nothing particularly. From a minor personal perspective, a mirror in the bedroom might have been useful and better quality bath towels to match with the modern decor of the flat. Note that there is no lift and so you will have to carry cases up a couple of flights of stairs. These were not too steep.
