The room was lovely and comfortable. The staff were very informative and helpful. This is an amazing piece of history to stay in a building like this.

Outside the apartment complex the building is under construction and you have to go through a building site to get to the apartments.

Basement entryway, confusing elevator, noise on street

It should have been told that the exterior of the building is under renovation:( No window view:(

I booked a room with a sea view and balcony the whole building was covered in scaffolding and so views were obscured- this was not mentioned beforehand. There was no balcony despite me specifically booking a balcony room and on speaking to the host she said someone else had that room. I especially wanted a view and balcony if they had said we had neither I could have booked a hotel further along the front. My upset is that they were not upfront and offered no solution- the entire building is old and needs renovation and i assume the scaffolding will be there somewhere time so I feel that they should be transparent in the description. I queried with booking.com and they have failed to respond
