Great location, good security, aircon worked fine, kitchen area available for use

Although we had private bathroom it was outside of our room, think it may have just been our room, still worked ok TV remote was intermittent even after a bought new batteries.

Loved the location-I hadn’t realized it was a guest house, but it was easy to connect with the staff and get the keys. The view off the balcony was lovely! (See photo)

We chose a room with three twin beds for me and my sons, and it was cute but on the small size for two young adult men over 6 feet tall. You had to duck to get in and out of the bathroom, as the ceiling was slanted. I’d chose it again, but our room was a bit small for three tall adults.

This was a surprisingly great stay. Having the upstairs room with our own bathroom was great. Coffee access first thing in the morning was a must and our host made sure we had pods for that! The breakfast was the best one of our trip. Traditional Portuguese served by lovely staff.

It was a little challenging to find. Instructions to park in the parking lot by the Manjedoura restaurant was a missing piece that was provided once we finally called for help. And then meeting by the Bar Azul was also extremely helpful information. Once we were checked in everything was good. One small thing, our door wouldn’t stay closed unless we locked it which and with only one set of keys, if someone went out, they had to lock the other in the room!!

What a gem of a B&B! Right in the heart of town with the best breakfast we’ve had in Portugal… and all our breakfasts have been delicious. Super friendly staff who had our room ready even though we arrived early.
