The apartment was big and clean. if you’re traveling by car the location is good especially for Phantasialand.

There was no hair dryer and no soap to wash hands. In Addition to that, the staff wasn’t friendly at all. While discussing the check in times I recently started a new job so I could only leave Munich after work. I explained my situation and asked if there was a late check in keybox option. When I addressed my concerns not making it at 20h at the location the staff replied with: “I only have two options to your problem, the first is you will be there at 20h latest or you search for a hotel with a reception”. i was in shock since I travel often and a lot of places including private apartments had late night check ins. (with keybox). the rudeness was really uncalled for. I understand that they were worried but I booked over booking.com and when I got to the apartment I saw outside there was a keybox! so this could have been an option…. running such a business people need to be prepared to treat customers well.. being in this business myself I cannot understand and respect these actions. My honest opinion: if you’re really struggling with money I can recommend the apartment since it was clean and nice. if you’re able to spend 20 or 40 euros more for a different place please do not book this apartment. let’s not support places that don’t know how customer service works.

Would stay here again

Nice apartment, clean and well-furnished. Large patio. Quiet location with parking on site. Great location for visiting Cologne, Bonn, the fabulous Augustusburg Palace complex in nearby Brühl (a UNESCO World Heritage site), and many other castles in the area.

Tijdens ons verblijf in deze accommodatie hebben wij helaas een zeer vervelende en onprofessionele ervaring gehad met de eigenaar. Op de dag van het voorval kwam mijn broer ons in de middag kort bezoeken. Het ging om een bezoek van minder dan vijftien minuten, midden op de dag, zonder gebruik van faciliteiten en zonder overnachting. Bij het uitchecken werden wij echter geconfronteerd met een volledig onverwachte en ongegronde beschuldiging. De eigenaar beweerde dat mijn broer bij ons had geslapen, terwijl dit absoluut niet waar was. Hij was die dag aanwezig vanwege zijn eigen bruiloft en heeft alleen heel even bij ons aangebeld om iets te brengen. Ondanks onze uitleg bleef de eigenaar volhouden dat er sprake was van een extra gast. Tot onze verbazing eiste hij hiervoor een extra betaling van €70. Toen wij aangaven dat deze beschuldiging onterecht en ongegrond was, reageerde hij niet met een gesprek of begrip, maar begon hij te dreigen met het bellen van de politie. Dit zorgde voor een uiterst ongemakkelijke en vijandige sfeer, die totaal niet past bij hoe een professionele accommodatiehouder met gasten zou moeten omgaan. Omdat wij geen zin hadden in verdere escalatie, hebben wij uiteindelijk toch betaald, ondanks dat wij overtuigd zijn dat er geen enkele rechtvaardiging voor deze extra kosten was. De manier waarop de eigenaar met ons sprak, zijn houding en het gebrek aan respect hebben ons verblijf helaas zeer negatief beïnvloed. Wij vinden het belangrijk om deze ervaring te delen, zodat toekomstige gasten zich bewust zijn van de manier waarop de eigenaar met dit soort situaties omgaat. Ook adviseren wij de eigenaar dringend om zijn communicatie, professionaliteit en klantvriendelijkheid te verbeteren, aangezien de huidige werkwijze niet past bij wat men mag verwachten van een accommodatie die gasten op een gastvrije manier zou moeten ontvangen. Voor de eigenaar doe een bezoekje bij de tandarts.

In dieser Umgebung fühlt man sich absolut verwöhnt!

Sehr freundlicher abendliche Empfang zur Schlüsselübergabe. Die Lage war nicht nur perfekt für meine Teilnahme an einem Workshop in Brühl, sondern auch herrlich ruhig! Von Aussenlicht angefangen bis Parkplatz direkt vor der Haustüre, war mein Aufenthalt mehr als nur komfortabel. Stilvolle Einrichtung, schöner Blick vom Balkon und wunderbare Matratze. Habe die gesamte Woche besser geschlafen als Zuhause. Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Vermieter, sodass ich mich von Anfang bis Ende absolut wohl gefühlt habe. Zu einem nächsten Workshop käme ich sehr gerne wieder. Herzlichen Dank für diese wundervolle Unterbringung!
