Very good location in Badacsony, quiet street some walking minutes away, but still close to the crowded centre. Two beaches to your choice just in 10 minutes by feet. Enough space for two cars, comfy bedroom and a fair sleeping sofa in the living room. Very nice garden with big table and a grill! For railway enthusiasts, it's a must: northern Balaton line is literally behind the garden, I enjoyed some spotting there.

Everything was fine! However, the flat landmark between the mountain hangs and the lake is narrow in this region, so almost everywhere you'll probably notice some railway/road sounds. I did not felt disturbed by this.

It is a real gem in the middle of Badacsony. A surprisingly large apartment with an immense garden in a calm street. The only annoyance could be the closeness of the railway, however, the isolation of the windows seem to be sufficient, we did not hear the train traffic at all. Also, due to the size of the garden, even when sitting on the terrace it is not really a problem. A huge extra score goes for the clean and not at all stinky dishwasher. Unfortunately I have never been in any booked apartment before where the dishwasher wasn't disgusting - this is the first exception. It is clearly visible that the owners really care. We also liked the BBQ in the garden.

The lighting on the terrace could be improved. There is only somewhat weak lamp a bit further away from the table. It is okay if you just want to sit out with people & talk - it gives a good atmosphere - but if you want to play cards or similar it is not enough.

Everything was so clean the owner was waiting for us with one bottle of white wine.
