The beach was just across the road, and we had a great view of Mt Etna from our balcony. The host had great recommendations for restaurants, and we loved having breakfasts at the local cafe (Granita, Brioche and Espresso). It's quite a long way from the train station but the host was gracious enough to give us a lift. If you have a car there is secure parking on site. One thing that was amazing, was that the house was naturally cool even in 37 degree heat. We didn't need to use the aircon much at all. If you want a relaxing vacation away from the more touristy areas then Mascali is for you.

Property is next to the beautiful beach. Small pebbles, perfect clean see. Place is close to Taormina, Etna, Nexos 10-15 min drives. Apartment is well equipped, host is very friendly and ready to help in any way.
