CORFU NIKKI'S HOME

We stayed at Nikki's Corfu House with our family and friends and overall had a pleasant stay. What we appreciated most was the attitude of the owner. He was always kind, patient and willing to help, and whenever we reported something that needed attention, he tried to solve it immediately. We really appreciated this approach and felt that our concerns were taken seriously. The bedrooms are lovely, with new furniture, and the house has a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for a family stay. There was also plenty of space for hanging wet towels and swimwear, which was especially useful for us as we were travelling with five children. The swimming pool was clean and there were lots of inflatable toys available, which the children really enjoyed. The location has a very good selection of shops, a bakery and everything else needed for everyday life, which was very convenient.

The lower part of the house, especially the living room and bathrooms are a little dated and would benefit from renovation. The walk to the beach was a little inconvenient with children, and the local beach is not among the most beautiful on Corfu.(Agios Gordios, Marathias, Issos beaches worth to visit)

Great location, close to all amenities shops restaurants and bars. The beach which is beautiful and has crystal clear water was less than 10 minutes walk. The pool area was lovely, plenty of sun loungers available. The house itself is lovely and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping came every day except Sunday and emptied the bins, cleaned the bathrooms, made the beds etc which I didn't expect. There were clean sheets every 3 days and the towels were changed every 2nd day. The beds were so comfortable too we all slept very well. The kitchen was well equipped for eating and cooking at home. Takis the owner even descaled the coffee machine for us. 3 of the bedrooms have balconies and there is a small garden and terrace with furniture. We spent all our time outside. There is a large lounge with a large flat screen TV and dining table as well as another table in the kitchen so plenty of room for indoor dining to. The house has everything you could need( except a scissors) Takis was very helpful and attentive when required and was quick to answer any queries or sort any problem(coffee machine)

The house has a dishwasher but only 5 dishwasher tablets were provided for 11days so we had to buy more. There is a coffee machine but no coffee filter papers it would have been nice to have these provided. These are only small things though
