Villa PHILIS

This bed and breakfast was perfect for our one-night stay. The host Philippe was a really nice man who was very helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble for him he gave us good advice and helped us arrange a taxi to the airport. He was also very flexible in allowing us to store our suitcases at his property during our departure day which helped us enjoy Bergerac for our extra day. We found his house to be very comfortable and Philippe had a very eclectic collection of pieces decorating his property which created very good conversational points. Brilliant breakfast in the morning really presented well on our breakfast table, well done to Philippe you made our stay very memorable.

The information said private bathroom but this was not en suite. Although only for our use the toilet and washing facilities were down the corridor. The bedding was dated. Blankets not duvet.

Superb location, easy to walk into the town and very easy to get to from the airport. Plenty of off-street parking at the property. The host Philippe could not have been more welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Lovely breakfast provided every morning.

The only issue was the separate toilet, which did not cause a problem during the stay as we were the only guests at that time.

The location was very good

We would not stay here again.
