The location was excellent for our needs, and the view was spectacular. However, the furnishings are worn and the amenities are sparse.

There is NO air conditioning. Inside temps during our August 2024 visit were 91 degrees. The carpets were dirty, silverware was dirty, and the 3 (if 4) working fans did not cool it down. The view was phenomenal, which was the best part of this trip. Would not rent again unless the installed air conditioning and changed cleaning companies…

This little condo was plenty of space for a family of four. The beds and couch were comfortable and the kitchen was spacious and well stocked. The view from the kitchen, living room, and patio is phenomenal. It was great to have a reserved parking space so close to the unit. There is a small beach walking distance from the unit! We would definitely consider staying here again.

The place is completely filthy. From carpets to floors to vents and bathrooms… FULL ON GROSS. Surprisingly the housekeeper showed up 25 minutes before check out and started cleaning the patio area. The pictures are NOTHING LIKE THIS PLACE REALLY IS

The location was pretty good. The views of the ocean were pretty good. No air conditioner, got very warm in the house. Couldn’t open some windows, because screens were ripped or missing. Couldn’t enjoy the ocean views as the deck had no chairs and very run down. It was ocean front, definitely not beach front.

The view was spectacular! The room was very comfortable, like staying at a 5 star hotel. However, Could use updates on a few of furnitures, especially the deck. Deck doesn’t look like the pic at all. Pretty dilapidated, with bird poop on benches but the gorgeous view made up for it. Also, not very child proof, safety issues of my toddler getting out of the house so easily, with street access by front door (I was always on high alert with my toddler). I wish they accommodated my late checkout request of noon instead of 10am esp since there were no guests coming that day. Instead cleaner came an hour early. Also the silverware didn’t look that clean, which makes sense as I saw how cleaning lady washed them and it was done haphazardly.

It is expensive, but if you are looking for an ocean experience this meets expectations. We had a few minor issues which I have addressed with Vacasa but overall it was a wonderful graduation gift for my niece.

Loved the waves crashing on the rocks and the beautiful sunsets. Views from inside the house also lovely. The house was clean (except carpet in bedroom) and well-supplied. Linens and towels were great. Furniture was in good condition. Good amount of space for 2-4 people. Patio needs more TLC including seating (one wooden bench and chair). Also, the privacy was a bit of an issue at sunset with people hanging on fence. But, we did enjoy our stay and would do so again.

This was the best experience and totally delivered! An ideal location with uninterrupted views of the ocean, could watch the surfers every morning and evening and killer sunsets right from the living room. Very quaint and cozy, Ocean Beach neighborhoods and sunset cliffs in walking distance, just lovely!

Overflowing stinky trash can & several garbage bags in front of house between front door & bedroom window greeted us on arrival. Outside dryer vent clogged & bad smell coming from laundry appliances which we’d hoped to use (although no detergent provided). Filthy & ripped chair, very rickety coffee table & barstools. Sliding patio door stuck on track every time it was opened & screen came off track frequently. Entryway window screen with torn corner so couldn’t leave open which was desperately needed for air flow. Cobwebs w/bugs hanging from kitchen pendant lights. Called the number given upon check in & operator said I’d receive return call about my complaints in 24 hours as it was a non-emergency/security problem however I never received a call.

This was our second visit to this home . Last year we stayed two weeks and booked through Marriott Vacations. It was less expensive and communication and customer service was much better . I used Vacasa this time and won’t use Vacasa again. The home was clean. The utensils inside the cub boards were caked in crusty food . After retrieving my third dirty utensil and second dirty plate from the cabinet I ended up emptying the cabinets and drawers and loading it all in the dishwasher. I also had to wash the couch and bed sham pillows before using them as they smelled dreadful. The bathroom vent is covered in so much lint if you run the heater it’s likely to catch on fire . Multiple attempts at getting more information before renting from Vacasa went unanswered, or I was given the opposite answer from different people. There were many basic items not provided such as salt and pepper or a pot holder to pick up a hot pan or kettle, no wine glasses, or bakeware . I sent a list upon arrival and the next day an assortment of the needed necessary items plus a few extra ones arrived from The property manager . He told me he had provided Vacasa answers to my pre arrival questions along with a couple photos I requested. However , Vacasa never sent them to me . The views and location are grand . It’s hot and stuffy during the day with no a/c but the fans help along with the breeze . We didn’t mind because the views are so amazing . The house is quirky and that adds to its charm. The small cove below is a great place to shell 🐚 hunt when the tide is out . Location is very convenient. There is a new security screen gate on the back bedroom door creating a wonderful breeze throughout the house . Rent the property from any of the many places it is listed online other than Vacasa and you’re sure to have a awesome experience.

Great location and views. The kitchen was good and the bed was very comfortable. It had plenty of space for the two of us, although the layout of the second bedroom is a little strange (and you need to be very careful not to trip going into it). The porch badly needs painting. Limited privacy - people from the street look right onto the porch. The table in front of the couch is wobbly. Overall, I expected a little more given the cost, but it was a pleasant stay and my wife did love the views of the ocean and the pelicans.

We had reservations to stay at this oceanfront cottage with Vacasa and had paid an incredible amount of money to be able to stay there. When we arrived, the distance from where we had to park to the front door was longer than it should have been. The property had been advertised as being all on one level, but when we arrived, we learned that was not true. The property itself was not nearly as nice as pictures on the site had shown. Since I have orthopedic difficulties that make it difficult for me to go up and down stairs, this was a disadvantage right away. The property had been advertised as having Wifi. When we arrived, we could not get Wifi to work, so we called for help. Help couldn’t come out until the next day. After we had left the property, we received a call late in the afternoon of the next day indicating help was on the way. The property had no air conditioning, so we were only able to sleep off and on during the first night there because even with 2 fans, the temperature was 82 degrees. After that, we realized we couldn’t stay there any longer, so I called Vacasa to cancel our reservation. They were glad to do so, but they refused to refund anything even though we left that very morning. We had to move to a hotel to be able to get air conditioning. This trip ended up being a financial disaster. We had hoped for a vacation of a lifetime, but then Vacasa happened. Don’t ever let this happen to anyone else..

This vacation home is beautiful and clean and has an absolutely magical view of the ocean and pier. We love the neighborhood and the easy access to the beach and restaurants. A few small things could have made our stay a lot nicer, however. Like, a working can opener, a few extra towels, softer sheets, better working kitchen utensils overall, a softer couch (it’s rock hard) and most importantly, a bottle of all purpose spray cleaner and a cleaning cloth or a pack of Clorox wipes so we could clean up after ourselves. I didn’t think to bring cleaning supplies and all we were supplied with was a small bottle of dish soap and a pack of very thin dollar store paper towels. It’s such a nice vacation home but I feel that the little creature comforts could definitely use an upgrade. Over all we loved our stay here.

Property was nothing as it was represented on vrbo website. Deck looked NOTHING. Like picture. Chairs were broken, railing and table was in great need of painting. There was no stairway to ocean from tge property. And there was no beach at all !! Kitchen and bathrooms were updated. Rest of house needed updating. Very, very 😞

House was perfect. The view was amazing and super clean. Minor things would be the outdoor can use some TLC like paint on the porch and some Launch chairs to lay on the sun. The ironing board is broken. Other than that this home is perfect and we had a great stay. The house has no AC but the wind and fans help. Looking forward to future longer stay.

This property is great clean and very close to the Beach. We loved our stay a lot but one issue we had was the last bedroom had no ventilation and the stairs to the lady bedroom are a hazard because where the stairs are there is a lower ceiling and either your making sure u don’t hit your head or you make sure you don’t fall from the stairs. Overall the money for th property is great but defiantly be carful in the house because of the stairs. We loved the house and the beach view. Spending the birthday there was amazing and cozy.

We would have, but it was always occupied by surfers. It is possible to walk to Ocean Beach along the public path. -drip marks on kitchen and upper level bathroom cabinets. Finger and smudge marks on door trim. Worn and stained bedroom carpets. Needs a thorough cleaning. - needs wall patching in bedrooms and bathrooms. -very rusted shower curtain rod in upper bathroom. This review is more critical than I would usually note due to the price of this rental. Needs some deep cleaning, minor repairs and more accurate photos. we really had a great time. great location beautiful view. the only two things I did not like were.... the grill didnt work properly and it seemed there was more of a beach area below but once you were there, there wasnt much of beach to enjoy. we did go down the beach by car and it was good there. other than that I loved this place and would stay here again.

This house has a great elevated view of the ocean and a rocky expanse of beach. Surfers entertained us every day and many people visited the adjacent overlook to gaze at the Pacific. The neighborhood is quiet but within walking distance of the area's food and shops. Off-street parking is a plus. House had most ameneties and nice bathrooms.

2nd time at this spot. It’s all about the wall of windows and deck that is right on a cliff between sunset cliffs and OB. The best view EVER. A comfy couch, great kitchen. The configuration in the back of the house is a little odd- some narrow stairs down to a huge laundry room and then step up to 2nd bedroom. The beds are both smallish and very soft. It was spotless clean and after I made a call to report no towels (a mistake I’m sure) towels showed up with a very nice lady 1/2 hr. later. It’s very expensive, but I’ll stay again.

Arrival instructions were very clear. Parking, door key code, very easy. Ocean view and sounds were perfect. Sitting on deck very relaxing. Unit was clean and comfortable. The only issue was one evening the ocean breezes didn’t kick in and even with all the fans going it was very warm (83 degrees). Overall though, a very enjoyable stay.
