Sanbartolomeo Casa & Putìa

Great location right by the magnificent San Bartolomeo Church, short walk into the centre but also very peaceful. Easy access, met by host. Special mention about the breakfast, the best I've had on this trip to Sicily and which is enhanced by eating it on the balcony.

Air con doesn't cool the upstairs bathroom which was very hot.

De ligging was fantastisch, ontbijten met uitzicht op de San Barolomeo was heerlijk.

De kamer was een beetje klein en in de badkamer was het heel warm (zolderkamer), maar voor twee dagen was dit ideaal voor ons.

The room was a converted garage. This caused multiple issues: (i) the humidity smell, (ii) flooring was original rock pavement, which was uncomfortable and very unhygienic, (iii) garage door was not sealed at the bottom, and hence insects could come into the room (had to kill plenty of spiders among other…), and (iv) the noise insulation was terrible. In conclusion, that room is completely unfit for purpose. Other reviews are very good, so would assume our bad experience was a result of us being put into that specific room…
