We had a great time staying at Vallis Rabiosa. Marina was a great hostess and very accommodating. We visited both local restaurants by the harbour. Both great and worth visiting during your stay.
We were travelling with friends and were able to have connecting balconies. The sea view was stunning and a pleasure to sit outside and enjoy. Diklo is quiet and a great base for exploring the local area.
We had a fantastic time.

Très bon emplacement près de la plage de Diklo. Très bonne communication avec l'hôte, adorable et pleine de bons conseils. Maison comportant un jardin très spacieux et arboré, piscine dont il est pris grand soin tous les jours, comportant nombre de transats.

Very nicely presented with a nice outdoor space.
We were really looking forward to our stay, but sadly, a number of issues significantly impacted our experience.
From the start, things didn’t run smoothly. The coffee machine wasn’t working, the air conditioning didn’t function as expected, and the kitchen setup was limited. The induction hob in the apartment didn’t work at all—which made preparing a simple dinner for our child unnecessarily difficult. As a last-minute solution, the hosts kindly brought us a single portable hob and replaced the coffee machine.
However, the communication that followed was deeply disappointing. We were accused multiple times of “clumsy handling”—including the coffee machine (which didn’t function) and the induction hob, which even the owner couldn’t get to work when they tried it themselves. It was very much an ‘entirely our fault’ approach, and we did not feel like valued guests at all.
Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience and impact these issues had on our stay, we were met with a defensive and, frankly, offensive attitude. We felt very let down by Martina’s tone—there was no sense of hospitality, just blame towards us and excuses. As guests, we didn’t come here to be made to feel at fault for things that clearly weren’t working from the start. Even on leaving, we received a very passive aggressive message saying the induction hob was fine (despite the fact the hosts tested it themselves when we reported it l, they also found it wasn’t functioning).
On a positive note, the pool was lovely and we appreciated being able to check in early. But overall, the experience lacked care, warmth, and basic readiness. We’re a respectful family who travels often —but this stay left us feeling disappointed and even though the apartment was comfortable, we unfortunately wouldn’t return or recommend due to the communication from the hosts.
