- The owner of the hostel is so lovely. He taught us how to salsa and gave us beers to drink with him :) The owners are definitely the best part about this hostel.
- The rain came through the roof of our bungalow room. We did, however, get a discount for that!
- Ants crawling all over the cooking utensils but you just brush them off and it’s not too big of a deal 😅

Chi is an amazing host, only for him I would already stay here again :) we felt very welcome right from the first minute. Chi gave us great insider tips on where to go (cenotes etc), and even drove us to one! We had fun nights together! We wish all the best for Chi and his family! The room had a really big bed, and the temperature was fine in the night (only a fan for the downstairs room).

A safe and quiet location only 20 minutes walk from the centre. Chi gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home, he’s a really nice guy with a great spirit. The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice to have cold filter water and coffee provided. A really nice atmosphere and a very cuddly guard dog named Draco looking after us is all we need!
I wish the ceiling fan was a bit stronger! It was fine in the night but during the day it was too hot in the room.. the fan just needs a bit of maintenance work. Apart from that everything was great and we would definitely book again.
