Casa Vacacional Alcazabilla

Location was good but getting suitcases to house was difficult given the distance from where the car was temporarily parked. But views made up for this.

Official parking was a 10 minute walk but at least the walk was easy. I did not use the garage as access was tight.

This is a cute cozy 2 bedroom 2 small bathroom house that sits on a very short street that is in a pedestrian only plaza which also is where the Real Collegiate church and the entrance to the Alcazaba of Antequera are. There are 3 entrances to the plaza- 1. through The Arch ( arcos de los gigantes) 2. from the back of the church ( which is where google maps sent us when I typed in the house address) 3. from the bottom of a set of stairs on Calle de Collegio ( which is where the parking garage is located). The house is quaint with a killer view from the terrace as the plaza sits at the top of a hill. We found the beds to be comfortable and the kitchen and washer very useful. Carlos is very responsive and kindly allowed us to check in early ( key box at front)

Perhaps the fault is ours for asking for an early check in but there were cleaning rags about, the terrace was messy, one of the throw pillows had no case etc. Also, there was too much furniture in the living room and terrace ( why 6 chairs) - it would allow more room to have less. The patio umbrella is not useable whatsoever which was a shame as it would have helped with the hot midday sun. Lastly some information notebook with nearby grocery store/ closest recycling bins etc. would have been appreciated. (BTW - great little corner grocery store about 500 m to your immediate left as you exit the arch). Having said all that I really liked this place and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful apartment in a stunning location. Exceptionally well presented with everything you could possibly need. Car parking in garage is great and safe and just a few steps away. Would definitely recommend to all!

Tolle Lage und Ausblick.

Leider war in der Wohnung nicht alles sauber. Einiges an Geschirr und der Kühlschrank wurden nicht gereinigt. Wichtige Hygieneartikel fehlten.
