The location is fantastic. In the center of the lanes but at the end of a gated courtyard so very quiet this property is also 5min from the train station on foot and a very short walk to the beach / pier. Just couldn't have hoped for a better location.

I was taken by surprise by the rental agency (NOT booking.com) asking me to provide credit card details so a lock for a damage deposit could be placed on my account before we arrived. I was not expecting this, had never been asked to do this before and was very concerned as to whether it was a hoax or scam given that it was not using the booking.com systems. In the end, it was all ok and my deposit was returned after our stay without difficulty and there hasn't been any un-expected transactions on my card since. But it did have me worried. Also, anyone staying there must take into account that this property has lots of small twisting staircase and no "ground floor" to speak of. Not a problem at all for our party but worth noting for possibly less mobile people.

Great location, off the Main Street but cafes and shops just round the corner! Spacious, modern and clean.

Spiral staircases may not be easy for everyone

It would have been nicer if the parking was at the premises

The property itself is good. It’s clean and well organised. We had to pay an additional non refundable £30 not advertised in main price on booking.com for damages. There wasn’t a list of existing damages, such as the bathroom door lock hanging off. Info of what’s already broken on arrival would be useful

Instructions for booking in are long, need to be written as a list together on one email. eg parking 10min walk from accommodation, with what three word , Go to accommodation, first, what’s three words, pick up key , fob , PIN number, then go to car park They do have Mai, bot that you can call and this was helpful
