Casa Mochila

Patricia does everything to make it comfortable for the guests. She's always standby for if anybody needs something. we had an accident on one of our trips and she was very helpfull and flexible. Thank you Patricia, we will be back!

Nos alojamos 3 noches en casa mochila que está ubicado a pie de carretera a 3 km de Salento (carretera nacional que lleva a Salento). Es una casa de construcción en bambú muy bonita, con habitaciones espaciosas y limpias. Baño con agua caliente y con presión en el agua. Tiene un jacuzzi en la planta baja que es muy reconfortante por la noche tras las excursiones. Su propietaria Patricia está atenta a todo lo que los huéspedes necesitan y es 5estrellas.

La ubicación en la carretera hace que nunca haya silencio y el ruido de los camiones, coches y motos circulando puede incomodar para dormir siendo necesario el uso de tapones. Así mismo hay que coger un transporte para llegar al pueblo porque caminar por la carretera 3 km es un poco peligroso sin arcén.

First of all, if you pay with card you're asked to pay 5% surplus to cover the fee, which this is illegal as the owner should absorb that cost, not the customer (https://bold.co/legal/comercios-pagos.html if you haven't read it, it says your contract can be terminated if "Si cobras o trasladas a los Clientes Compradores la comisión que te cobra Bold por recibir el servicio de aceptación de Medios de Pago."). when brought my disappointment to the receptionist she just smiled meaning "if you want to stay this is the way it is". Second, according to the receptionist you can't come back after 12 at night. This rule is not expressed any where in their profile but she argued it was "owners rule" Room: it's simply laking day light, there's a small window which is not enough to bright well the room. The smell of mold is pretty strong due to a couple of matresses full of dust stored under the bed. Noise from the street is high as rooms are not totally closed. Amenities: Poor, there was just an half bottle of shampoo/soap. not sure what it was. We were given hair towels too small for the body. Breakfast: I read the breakfast was amazing. It was Just ok. Few pieces of fruit, not enough marmelade for 1 slice of bread and some egg. Totally not worthed the price.
