I’m glad I brought my own laundry detergent because what was there had no surfactants or enzymes. If you’re booking with little kids and wanting/needing to do laundry it’s also a top loader machine so doesn’t really clean. If you’re doing major cooking and want to use the dishwasher bring your own detergent because again the powder provided has no cleaning agents in it.

Everything! We stayed at Valley View 203 with 5 adults and 1 child and there was plenty of space for everyone. The apartment was a home away from home. We had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, coffee machine, toaster, sandwich press, boiler, microwave, fridge, plates, cups, mugs. Anything that you would typically have in your home, they have it plus more! They provided a towel for each of us. Just bring your own bathrom essentials like shampoo & conditioner. Having 2 toilets was great. The apartment kept as warm and we were able to turn off the heaters as needed. There was a washing machine and dryer. The apartment did not have wifi and the TV signal was choppy so best to either bring a dongle (Optus) and some of yur fave DVD’s! If not, they had books and some games to keep the kids occupied. We had very weak internet reception on our phones (Vodafone) but my daughter’s friend who was with Optus did not have much issues with her internet. Check in was smooth for us. I knew we wouldn’t arrive on time as I anticipated (4pm) so when we stopped at Mansfield to purchase snow chains I contacted the AMS Mt Buller Apartments and the lady told us to pick up the apartment key at their office in Mansfield. The apartment had a heated entrance area where we could dry off our gear which came in so handy. The Buller plaza was a few steps aways from the apartment and it was lovely specially at night. There’s a grocery store which has everything you’ll need and plenty of restaurants to choose from in the surrounding areas. Plenty of snow when we went and the lil one had a blast. There is no luggage storage in the apartment so we made sure we arrived on time and left on time. A bit pricey but it’s worth it given the amenities. We would definitely book again!!!!

Although a small apartment, it contained all the things we needed for our stay of 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The apartment was next to Bourke St with easy access to car park, athletes walk, ski school, air zone, ski hire, foodworks and restaurant/coffee shops. Great location. We liked the big drying room at the front door and the fact each room had their own heater and TV (x3 TV in total). Both bedrooms were of decent size. Great amount of storage and lots of hooks to hang items up. The bunk beds were decent size and comfortable. The bathroom between the two bedrooms worked well with the addition of a second toilet near front door added extra privacy. Everyone had PowerPoints to charge their phones and computers. The kitchen contained the necessities including coffee machine, sandwich press, kettle, milk frother etc. Although we ate out most nights. Some tea and coffee was also provided. The lounge had a comfy 3 seater couch in front of TV, a sitting chair, with cafe style booth and table opposite kitchen. Although a bit squashed it worked well and would seat at least 8 people if needed with black foot stools. It was great that we were given 3 sets of keys on lanyards as we were all coming and going at different times during the day. There also a small collection of books that were available to read. I actually read “ Six Minutes”. The windows were double glazed and any noise from outside or in the stairwell was unheard of. It was a comfortable and warm place to stay.

The balcony door didn’t open for us to go outside. There was no view of any mountains, valleys or ski runs. Only a view of the apartments next to us balconies. The stone steps from apartment to athletes walk was slippery at times.

No wi-fi at the property. Very difficult when you have three teenagers.
