Loved the quirky nature of the place, our room was super
Bathroom was lovely but you could not use the bath taps without being in the bath! I know sounds silly but the shower glass was in the way.

The quirky decor to reflect the e period and age was perfect it felt like another time in history.

When we arrived we were upgraded to the family room, (more space). Thanks.
Food in the hotel was good, and service was exceptional, (nothing was a problem). Staff all polite.
Room made up every morning, clean towels etc.
Quite room.
Could do with more practical items in room/bathroom, coat hooks, towel hooks, shelves etc.
A chair in the main bedroom.

Great location and a gorgeous building, the restaurant area is decorated very well. Staff were very helpful and attentive can’t fault the staff at all.
We’ve stayed here before it was part of the greene king group and feel it has gone downhill since. We had to switch rooms due to cleanliness levels, staff couldn’t have been more helpful regarding this, and the menu was lacking. The food itself whilst tasty was a bit of a let down it was just standard pub grub not like it used to be.
