Apartment House Timisoara

There is a self-check-in, and it was very easy. There is a parking space. We rented the apartment on the top floor, which is a very large room and a large bathroom. It was a hot day, but the air conditioner managed to cool everything down. There is a nice back courtyard, but it has only one table. It is great for a short stay.

The major inconvenience is that you need to have cash to pay. At other places I've rented, the description also stated that a credit card was not necessary. However, through Booking, the amount was either charged automatically or we paid via POS terminal. So, be sure to prepare the exact amount in Euros or Lei.

It is not safe for small children, the floors are open on the ground floor, guests often leave the front door and gate open; there is a draft and the kitchen is closed in our rooms, the kitchen is open, others open something and there is a draft, because of small children, anyone coming with a family needs a cleaning brush and a bucket and a mop so they can wipe and clean; there are no deep plates and there are also fewer coffee cups; It's missing a small oven, at least a microwave, and a coffee pot.

We loved the quiet area - the houses and villas street instead of blocks and we definitely loved the access to the back yard. Also, the small kitchen was perfect to cook some light quick meals. The room was spacious and vintage style.

The mosquitos in the back yard are quite annoying and also the blinders at the windows are oldish and difficult to use (but not impossible).

Really nice staff, good location, apart from the busy street nearby it was quiet. Although it was very hot outside, the room we had was still perfect temperature. Well equipped kitchen.Nice backyard. Lots of parking on the street.

Could use some love, it's an old building and it's a bit beaten up. Not the cleanest place in the world, bathroom had some nasty smells. Because of the old shades from the window, there is no bug protection so you can't let windows open.
