Chalet Mutzli

The apartment was spacious with great natural light and stunning views, especially from the dining table, which made meals especially enjoyable. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans and even a fondue set. The check in process was explained well, and the host was very friendly and communicative throughout the booking process and stay. We had a minor issue with the curtains, and the host sent out someone to help the same day. The apartment was very clean. Additionally, the balcony was very large and even included a drying rack, which was great to have. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

While it wouldn’t have been an issue for a shorter stay, only one trash bag was provided for a 10-day stay, and when we asked for another, we were told to go to the bakery to purchase another bag. Additionally, we were only provided with one set of towels for a 10-day stay. While we were only two guests, the second bed in the main room was left bare, which looked a bit dingy. The traffic noise in the front of the house was heavier than expected, and quite loud in the mornings. The windows are heavy duty and filtered out quite a bit of noise, but sleeping with the front room windows open was not an option due to traffic. Lastly, the chalet directly behind the property is under construction. While the construction wasn’t loud, sleeping with the window open in the rear bedroom was not possible as construction crews arrived before 6:30 am each morning and looked directly into the bedroom. As a result of the inability to keep the windows open, the apartment became quite hot and uncomfortable overnight.

Location, kitchen had everything we needed and more. Comfortable, good communication. Beautiful surroundings.
