Great premises. Poor management

Premises. Everything nice.

I had a health situation with my wife feeling very sick. The doctor recommended she eats something light like steamed rice or steamed potato. I went to ask the hotel restaurant - the cook said it would be no problem to prepare that; but after talking to his manager she refused and said this was a “three or four courses menu restaurant” and not “a la carte” . And they offered no take away.

AMazing for the weekend in Zierikzee

Almost everything in the hotel was excellent. 1. Location in the old port, close to the center 2. Spacious garage with charging boxes 3. Clean spacious room (we had a suite) 4. Elevator for those ppl that need it 5. Friendly and helpful staff

The only thing I would really improve is the breakfast. Quality was very good, but the choice, for a 4 star hotel, was subpar. I would recommend adding more variety of vegetables (there was none one day, just a salad), adding some sausages, more variety of warm/hot dishes in the morning. Drinks - water, coffee, tea and orange juice only

I'd stay again, comfortable well run hotel.

Great location, though tricky to find the correct way to the carpark (don't trust Google maps!). Freindly staff and a very organised and well run operation.

I made the mistake of not booking a table for dinner before my arrival so wass unable to have an evening meal at the hotel.

Could have been much better as expected

Well located and very cosy, the room was fantastic, clean and well equiped.

A lot of noise since 07:00 in the morning (trolley, garbage containers, truck for textile delivery, …). We chose this quiet place to relax and we’ve been woken up by a lot of noises just below our room.

Its a very newly renovated hotel. Beautiful hallways and we had a nice room. The room was very clean. nice breakfast.

For the price you pay per night you expect a little more than just a clean cosy room. The bed was ok but not the best and we couldn't eat at the restaurant as it was already full.

Excellent place to stay a few days and enjoy Zierikzee and surroundings.

Great breakfast with plenty of choice; Right in the center of Zierikzee. Rooms are nicely done. Good bar and restaurant (although we did not use the restaurant, only for breakfast).

VERY NICE HOTEL (once you get your room) GREAT LOCATION and BREAKFAST

Second stay at this hotel. Still very nice and comfy. Great clean car park with direct acces to lifts and large trolleys available. Breakfast is good with large variety of meals. Great location with easy walk to the city center.

With a booking just done, we were told it didn't go through and there were no vacancies... Later on, when we showed our booking confirmation, a manager came and solved the problem. At last, we ended up into a nice room but it took a long time in discussions and we were kept standing at front desk with only answer from the first 2 people we met: "can't do anything"

Exceptional

Fantastic hotel at a great location in Zierikzee. We enjoyed the Duiveland suite very much. Super spacious, with a comfortable bed and a separate living room, small kitchen and private outdoor terrace. Peaceful spot and everything in Zierikzee was just a small walk away (< 15 mins). Breakfast buffet was excellent as well. Highly recommended!

The hotel acknowledged my negative check-in experience and I appreciate that.

Breakfast was good and served by two pleasant and cheerful staffmembers

The sour check-in clerk could have used more words than the two he uttered. What happened to “welcome to the .. hotel, your room is on the 2nd floor, the elevator is over there, our Wifi is… “ etc Fortunately the check-out clerk this morning erased that negative memory by being extremely pleasant.

Luxurious surroundings... good carpark. Nice modern room.

Breakfast was rather standard, freshly made omelette was very bland and imho not baked on the spot. The glass wall in the toilet is a bad idea (noise and light).

Everything was perfect : clean, comfortable, stylish, welcoming, excellent breakfast, well located.

Small detail that could be improved : the bathroom light that turns on automatically and since the walls are made of glass, it might wake up the other occupant.

Short stay, we will definitely return

Loved the bath the shower and the general facilities, very modern looking. Beds and sheets very comfortable. Equipped with everything you need to cook ( we did not use it) temperature and light control perfect :) Parking on site, was modern easy, great.

Honestly I don't have anything to really complain about.
