Very cute apartment with a very central location and close to everything. The apartment was tastefully decorated, and the beds were very comfortable.

The main door does not actually lock and so anybody could enter the building if they wanted to. Didn’t feel 100% safe entering. I reached out to management about this and nobody replied to me.

The location is superb and the apartment is in a nice old building. The apartment would be ok for a couple and one other person you know well or a child. It was easy to park, albeit expensive. Cadiz is a great location with a lovely local beach and some fabulous beaches only minutes away by car. There is wonderful architecture and you can see the towers of the cathedral from the window. We successfully cooked several meals using the equipment provided.

There are a number of issues with the apartment that are mainly related to it being a bit tired and things that have broken not being fixed properly. Most of these things would not have been an issue for our satisfaction of stay if we had not been asked to make an account of the damages after our stay when they were like it when we arrived! (Apart from an antiquated kitchen chair that collapsed when sat on and was already broken with a poor repair). The dishwasher was broken and smelt stagnant and we cleaned it out to get rid of the smell but it still wouldn't work. There is a piece of wood attached to the front which means the hinge cannot support the door and I cut and bruised my foot and was lucky not to break it. There was also confusion around our arrival time as the communication between the various companies hadn't happened. Generally there is no privacy in the room layout, for example you could see directly into the bathroom from a window in the bedroom with no blinds or curtains. It is quite noisy and the hiss of the air extraction from the carpark is almost constant. There is also alot of noise in the morning as the homeless tend to gather nearby as there is a soup kitchen at the end of the road. You can only park in the car park nearby which is 17 euro per day so factor that into the cost of the room. Make sure you note anything broken and report it st the start of your stay.
