老屋改建很用心很有溫度 位置離金瓜石公車站很近 遠離塵世的自然環境很療癒

因為環境接近大自然，難免有蚊蟲壁虎出沒，蟲鳴鳥叫比較大可考慮加強隔音

Very charming rustic place. It felt very cozy and spacious. Kids had lots of room to play while adults had lots of places to sit and chat. The area surrounding was very lovely to explore. Also very well lit, so coming back at night wasn't an issue. I would definitely stay again, especially to hike the surrounding areas.

Minor item, though there is a bus close by, we often used Uber instead. Reason being going to the parking lot to get an Uber was much easier than taking the huge flights if stairs to the bus.

The hostess is nice and tries to be helpful, even though this is more of an Air BnB than a traditional BnB [ie., she is not around to help if you need her]. The room was quaint, quite unique, and clean. Had good AC, internet, and bathroom [except for hot water problems]. The traditional Chinese kang-style bed was fun, but not everyone may prefer one. We were on a hiking outing at the neighboring park, so it was ideal location to get up and go.

For an expat in Taiwan, you need to speak Mandarin to navigate staying here [and I do]. The directions to find the B&B are not clear and since you will stay in a remodeled village home, there is no obvious signage to direct you thru the maze of the village alleys. Breakfast is a 7-11 sandwich, local fruit, and a pudding [nice], with DIY tea or coffee. No TV in the room, so do note that, but does have internet. On our 2nd day, the hot water never came on, though it worked nicely on day 1. You truly experience quiet Taiwan village living as there is nothing close by except a Family Mart 10 minutes walking away.
