The cabin is nestled in a private setting yet very close to the town circle, shopping, gas, Walmart and Home Depot. Come and decompress from the stresses of life and experience the Green Therapy. Reconnect with nature- for a better living, which can benefit both your health and your well -being. Wild life roams the property. Beautiful views of the Chattahoochee National Forest without the treacherous drive! Home is situated on a gentle incline. The property is centrally located for outdoor adventures, so the adventure seeker can hike, kayak, zip-line, paddle boat, tube, cycle, fish, boat, golf or horseback ride. You may just choose to Relax on the beautiful deck overlooking an amazing mountain. Many outdoor activities are close to our home: Trackrock Petroglyphs, Vogel State Park, Helton Creek Falls, Chestatee Overlook, Desoto Falls, Brasstown Bald, Blue Ridge Merciers Orchard, Russell-Brasstown Scenic Highway, Anna Ruby Falls, Unicoi State Park, Mount Yonah, Smithgall Woods State Park, Helens and Dukes Creek Falls just to name a few. Property is only 15 minutes to Neels Gap (4458 ft), a popular point of reference for hikers to jump onto the Appalachian Trail. This was an impeccably clean, lovely cabin. The kitchen is large and well stocked. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. The wraparound porch was roomy and secure for our dogs to wander while we enjoyed morning coffee. The furnace kept the rooms really comfortable even set at 68 degrees on cold nights. The fireplace heated the living area very quickly to prevent the furnace from running. We loved the large square kitchen table. I was able to work a puzzle on half while still having space to eat! I would be remiss if I didn’t comment on one thing that was unclear to me in the listing. First, there is no hot tub. There is a jacuzzi bathtub in the master bath, but you aren’t going to relax on the deck with your spouse in a hot tub to stargaze and share about the day or soothe sore muscles. There were two “awkward” things. One, the jacuzzi tub in the Master Bath is also the shower area. It can be difficult to get in and out especially if you have mobility issues. The owner has taken great care to make it safe by installing anti-slip strips and a wall handle, but it’s a pretty big step in and out. The guest shower may be a better option if the large step is an issue. The second is lighting at the stove area. While the kitchen is well lit, the area where you cook is dim. There’s a light under the microwave but it isn’t very bright which made it somewhat dark sand shadowed when cooking at night. The owner is responsive & we really enjoyed our first VRBO experience!

Beautiful cabin just outside of Blairsville. Easy check in and out process. Of note there is not a hot tub as the listing said when we booked. There is a jacuzzi tub in the master but not a true hot tub. Was looking forward to the hot tub after an event so would not have rented this place if the listing was accurate.
