Quiet and surrounded by nature

Very beautiful property with trees and gardens to admire. Rooms are immaculate and well decorated with a very cozy feel.

There is nothing that I did not like about this place.

We stayed in the cleverly architected studios. Well-furnished, spacious, spotlessly clean and all set in beautiful secure grounds. The owners are also charming and very helpful. We had delicious chicken casserole at the nearby soda el vallee. And delicious chiccarones (not for vegans) near the square in Barva (15mins stroll) - at chicharronera La tipica. Had a couple of beers in Bar BCB mixing with some of the locals on Karaoke (Monday) night ! We really liked the authenticity of Barva in contrast to the tourist resort that is La Fortuna where we are now staying - it’s not terrible but is more about amusing the tourist rather than revealing the country itself - each person to their own preferences I suppose. Our Spanish is dreadful but we try, and in all of these places in Barva we were met with courtesy and helpfulness The country as a whole, and Barva in particular, has much to be proud of - mucho Gracias.

Secure, well located within Heredia

Nothing ! The place is beautiful! The owner is wonderful, the only thing is that breakfast is not provided, maybe I did not read the fine print . Still highly recommend.
