Trip to Bacina Lakes to Paddleboard

A beautiful location and despite the road works the little lake side garden was a treat. A spacious, very comfortable studio appartment with wonderful lake views. The 2 breakfasts we had in the lakeside garden were perfect and great value for money. Out host was delightful as was her neighbour who spoke perfect English

Visit just for short time (1night) during our bike trip from Sarajevo to Gradic so I cannot seriously rate but enough spacefull appartmen with terrase right by the lake. Adequate for weary 6 pilgrims. Thanks.

In the evening when we arrived wasn´t in this time of year near possibility of dinner. Just in Ploce.

Beautiful lake, perfect quiet location

-The location is great: the balcony is amazing, with the view of the lake in front of the apartment. The place is close to the tourist attractions (reachable by car). -The place is quiet, the host are super friendly and give use the special fealing of a home away from home. They also gave recommendations of what to see, where to eat, it was very helpful. -The lake was clean and warm, there is a Beach Bar Capitano, were u can rent kajaks or SUPs

-it would be great if the beds were changed (mine was super noisy: each time someone changed the side - the kids were woken up) - would be helpful if the baby bed height was lowered and thus could be suitable for the babies from 3m old - the conditioner was rather noisy (could be the settings we have chosen) - it would be nice to have an extra light over the table (the room looked a bit dark) -while the lake is beautiful, note that its not suitable for small kids. The only beach with the slope entry - is Peracko Plaza (7 min drive away) or less if you have a kajak :)

Unfortunately not reaching the expectations

Location at the lake is beautiful. The view is amazing. Swimming opportunity right in front of the house. Good water pressure in the shower. Our complaint was handled relatively well by the contact via phone (we were given an alternative room, so we didn‘t need to change location)

We arrived and encountered the same problems that are mentioned in a couple of reviews some months prior to our stay. Unfortunately the bathroom in the apartment is still smelling (probably a sewer problem), the light in the main room isn’t working, there was a lot of hair and dust on the ground and we even found an old toothbrush with toothpaste in the bathroom cupboard. After explaining this to the given contact via phone we got another room. The person on the phone did speak good English and was very helpful and friendly. The landlady herself, who didn’t speak any English, apparently wasn’t very happy with us complaining and gave us the feeling we did something wrong. The other room was better, but still there were sugar crystals and an old hairneedles on the nightstand and crumbs on the table. This is not our hygienic standard. All in all we were disappointed by our stay. Additionally to mention is that the pictures don’t resemble reality too much.

Friendly, very quiet place on a lake. Issue with bad plumbing smell.

I picked this location because I wanted to explore somewhere a bit different to the usual holiday spots in Croatia. The apartment is next to a big lake which is perfect if you're looking for some peace and quiet. It's very scenic and really nice to sit and read on the large balcony. The host who let me in was a lovely lady who was very friendly. She didn't speak English but did her best to help out with any questions.

The first thing I should mention is a big problem with the plumbing in the room I stayed in. The bathroom seemed to have a strong sewer smell which wasn't very nice. I had to keep the bathroom door closed all the time. There isn't a great deal around the lake apart from a couple of bars and the ability to rent paddleboards. There is nowhere close by to get food. You should only visit this place if you're driving as the closest shops are in Ploce, which is about 3-4km away (about 45 minutes to walk). There's not much to do in Ploce as it's a fairly industrial little town. Not really a holiday destination. There are some nice trails to run/walk on around the lake and up the surrounding hills. Lots of mosquitos as well. I kept the balcony door closed to stop them getting in.

Superb

The location was absolutely beautiful! Views from our balcony of the lake & surrounding mountains are stunning, and there's a little park with a walking trail nearby. Quiet & comfortable. Our host was great, and brought us little parfaits after we arrived!

The room was comfortable and simple - a good value. Our only complaint was that there seemed to be a bit of a problem with the plumbing, so there was a strong odor coming from the bathroom.

Perfect communication and quick booking. It lies practically on the Adriatic highway, but away from its noise. Nice accommodation with air conditioning and lake views.

Lots of mosquitoes. The mosquito net had a hole, so we were bitten 🙂.

A little dream by the lake

Barbir offers a lovely little studio with a cosy terrace on the lakeside. Comfy beds (and you wake up looking at the lake!), And a tiny but functional kitchen. Lunch is best enjoyed on the ample breezy terrace. I cannot imagine a better settings for relaxed vacation, especially off season when all other tourists have gone, but a the sun still shines in the early Autumn. The owners are friendly and uncomplicated. We barely interacted with them, but they always had a smile for us and they kindly offered some grapes. The beautiful natural and rural scene near Barbir can be explored, enjoying a hiking route all around the lakes. The breeze, the soft parfumes of flowers and bakery products, the quiet life of this neighborhood, the lakes... every element here conjure up a holiday highlight that will be impressed for long in my memory.

A funny smell from the shower drainage tubes could (maybe -?) addressed with a strong pipe cleaner.

Apartament simplu, ingrijit, placut si suficient pentru o familie cu 2 copii. Terasa este foarte utila si frumoasa iar privelistea de pe ea meritat toti banii! Gazda a fost primitoare si ne-a indrumat cu toate informatiile de care ai avea nevoie. Este aproape de orasul Ploce cat si de plajele din imprejurimi. Am apeciat foarte mult linistea locului si de fapt intregul sejur in aceasta locatie.

Avand in vedere ca este un apartament de familie, ma asteptam sa aiba un minim din lucrurile uzuale, cum ar fi sare piper, ulei, otet, etc, astfel incat sa nu fim nevoiti sa cumparam. Poate ca ar fi util sa aiba si regulile casei afisate in loc vizibil cum ar fi selectarea gunoiului, orele de liniste, etc si toate informatiile utile pe care gazda ni le-a comunicat verbal - restaurante, plaje, obiective turistice, etc.

Schöner Platz für einen kurzen Aufenthalt.

Großzügige, einfache Unterkunft mit Parkplatz an der Straße, direkt am wunderschönen See. Unser Zimmer hatte eine große private Terrasse mit Blick auf den See. Leider auch viele Mücken. Privater Zugang zum See gleich über die (Anlieger)straße. Kein Strand oder Wiese sondern schmaler Betonkai mit Leiter ins glasklare herrliche Wasser. Es gab leider nur zwei Liegen. Die Gegend um Ploce ist leider nicht so attraktiv und daher wenig touristisch. Wir waren nur auf der Durchreise.

We werden ontvangen door de eigenaresse, een vriendelijke en vrolijke mevrouw. Helaas spraak zij geen Engels maar gelukkig met mijn talenkennis konden we goed gesprek voeren. Het appartement was groter dan verwacht en het uitzicht was magnifiek.

La posizione dell'appartamento e il parcheggio proprio in riva al lago. Proprietari molto gentili e silenziosi ma non parlano inglese e quindi del check-in se ne occupa la vicina molto gentile e disponibile.

Purtroppo l'appartamento non corrisponde alle foto di quello prenotato. Poca pulizia, ragnatele, zanzare e le lampadine fulminate o sporche. Inutile chiedere ai proprietari che non parlavano inglese.

Świetna lokalizacja. Apartament położony jest nad samym jeziorem, kilka kilometrów od Adriatyku.

Wszystko jak w opisie. Idealne miejsce dla osób chcących zwiedzić południową Chorwację (Dubrownik, Split, Korculę, Deltę Neretwy itd.) lub też zorganizować sobie jednodniowe wycieczki do Bośni i Hercegowiny. Właściciele są bardzo mili i pomocni, nie komunikują się w języku angielskim, ale zapewniają pomoc w tłumaczeniu angielskojęzycznej sąsiadki. Widok z tarasu przepiękny, Sąsiedztwo jeziora idealne dla dzieci i podróżujących zwierząt domowych, dla których możliwość korzystania zarówno ze słodkiej wody w jeziorze, jak i ze słonej wody w Adriatyku ma znaczenia. Warto na samym początku pobytu ustalić menu śniadań, jeśli Państwo będą dodatkowo wybierali taką opcję. Polecam.
