Bliss.

The apartment was perfectly set up it had everything we needed, the hosts were great and very friendly. The view from the apartment over the lake was fantastic, really nice to wake up to. Supermarkets and bakeries are a very short drive away so everything you need is on hand.

I think my only suggestion would have been a TV in the bedroom. The TV in the living room was a little bit awkwardly placed so it wasn't very comfortable watching from the sofa because the bracket on the wall only comes out to a certain angle. But I'm sure 99.999% of people staying there won't care about watching TV, for us it's just something we like to do in the evenings to unwind :)

Simply the best!

Superb lakeside location; great apartment with lovely view from the balcony. The friendliest of hosts and a surprise restaurant for guests in the garden. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. Lovely swimming in the lake from the apartment jetty and great walks for the dogs. We have stayed in many apartments in Croatia over many years - this is one of the best! The Bacina lakes are gorgeous - a lovely contrast to busier coastal areas. Highly recommend. Thank you to Nicola and his family.

A very special place.

Absolutely fantastic unique place with the nicest host family, Nikoli, Gabby (?) and your Mum who cooked for us also I think?! We were a family of 5 with teens en route to Dubrovnik. We were given the warmest welcome. We only stayed one night and we had requested dinner in advance. We started our evening with a swim in the beautiful fresh water lake. The meal was absolutely delicious and the 2 bed apartment was comfortable, clean and spacious with a beautiful terrace overlooking the lake.

Nothing to say here.

Superb lakeside apartment

The view over the lake is stunning. Apartment 2 is spacious and has a cool retro vibe. The lakes are pristine and natural. Great hosts. Very friendly locals. Very few tourists.

Watch out for mosquitoes in the evenings 😅

Captivating

We loved everything about Apartmani Galic: it's location on the lake, the green lush grounds, fruit trees, particularly pomegranate tree, the cascading terrain,the stone dining/kitchen structure, the private intimate outside dining areas made you feel as being in a beautiful pomegranate grove overlooking a lake, delicious home cooked meals accompanied with Galice's own wine and assortment of spirits. Our two bedroom unit was spotless clean, cheerful decor, with a balcony overlooking the lake. We could go on and on about the beauty and attraction of Galic Apartmani. However by far we loved most the warmth and hospitality of Galic family and having coffee with them. They made us feel part of the family.

beautiful hideaway spot with lake access and great stargazing

the apartment was beautiful and had good AC in the living room. it was good enough to cool the bedroom enough to sleep. the lake the property sits near is wonderful for swimming, and there’s a little lakeside bar a few steps away. the figs they gave us on arrival were delicious.

not bad things at all if you plan: - there are no taxis in Ploče, but the property is only a 20-30 minute walk (some uphill) from the rail/bus station. otherwise, make sure to rent a car in advance. we were able to rent same-day (thank you again Peter at the bus station rent-a-car) :) - there’s not a restaurant within walking distance, so stop at a grocery store on the way up or be ready to drive into town for a meal. the owner will also cook for you for a fee and sells some staples (eggs).

Lakeside

Clean and comfortable. Has it's own balcony and beach. Right on the lake. Lots of nature . Hosts try very hard. Breakfast in the coffee shop or the hosts make breakfast ( home grown and homemade products)

Close the upper window on time, so the insects don't get in but you cannot be so close to nature without facing it!

Wonderful place by a lake

The hosts were wonderful. They gave us fresh figs, grapes, and pomegranates from their garden on arrival. The room was large and had a well-stocked kitchen. This would be a great place to bring a family in the summer so that the lake can be enjoyed. You can cook here and there is a nice table inside and a nice large table outside on the private balcony, which is large. Bathroom had a very nice shower in it. Overall this was very nice and well worth the money paid.

From the description on Booking,com, one could easily think that this property is on the Adriatic. It is not. It sits inland on a lake. The picture on Booking.com of the beach with the bikini ladies on the sand.... that isn't this place. Just so you know.

We came here for a weekend during February to escape the city buzz, and just enjoy some peace and quiet. The communication with the host was great even before we came. He answered to all my questions. We were welcomed with domestic homemade deserts and an clean apartment, which was well equiped for cooking all sorts of meals. Even though it was middle of winter we had a nice stay and had great walks around the lakes, Ploče, Neretva and the surrounding cities. Thank you guys for an amazing stay, will come here during summer for sure!

Schön! Empfehlenswert

War ein schöner Aufenthalt. Es ist alles da Was man braucht. Das Apartment ist schön eingerichtet. Die Familie ist Sehr nett und aufmerksam. Man hat sein eigenen Steg im Garten , der direkt zum schwimmen im See einlädt. Die Lage ist 5-8min mit dem Auto von der Stadt entfernt. Die Umgebung ist schön ruhig.

Ein Traum am See

Der Balkon mit Blick auf den See, die Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung und vor allem das Baden im See. Nicola und seine Familie sind sehr nett und unterstützen in allen Bereichen. Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung. Die Mitbewohner der Ferienanlage sind ein Highlight... mehrere Schildkröten.

In den letzten Urlauben wurden wir von etwas mehr Ruhe in den Ferienhäusern verwöhnt. Die Straße zur Unterkunft war während unseres Aufenthalt in Bau was alles etwas staubig und lauter machte. Die Musik der Beachbars am Tag und Abend war immer präsent aber meistens dezent.
