Perfect

This property's attention to detail is amazing. It is so comfortable with something for everyone. I am particularly happy that my dog can stay with me and there are excellent walking trails right out the front door. Beautiful, clean, friendly staff, comfortable amenities, bed, kitchen and great decor. They have thought of everything and made staying here so easy I asked for a second night. What a fun place to find on my travels from Australia.

Suited our needs

Perfect for a stop during the journey. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Good beds, great outside spaces in terrace and garden, also for kids.

The dining room/kitchen of apartment 6 is way to small for 8 persons. I would not want that for more than 1 night.

hidden gem for nature lovers

lovely location right next to forest, across the road is a small lake. very friendly owners who don’t stay far from the house and can give great recommendations on what to do in the area, including on where to have breakfast and where to go for walks or go for a swim in lakes. very quiet at night and sunny terrace. very clean. well equipped kitchen. if one stays in the holiday rooms like we did, this is shared. mattresses are comfortable and balcony enjoys forest view. the house was refurbished in 2016 by the present owner, it‘s not posh or pretentious but simple and perfect. car parking is available and free. quiet cull de sac. great for families as there is a small playground in the garden.

Beautiful

Beautiful house with lovely views and plenty of outside space for sitting and relaxing, walking distance to restaurants, very quiet, honesty fridge with beer and wine, would definitely stay here again, parking for motorcycles and charging for electric car

Beer in the honesty fridge wasn't cold, no breakfast option however there is a kitchen so you can make your own, booked a room with two beds but we're given a room with one

Nice appearance. Clean. Comfy bed. Pretty view. Close to lots of hiking trails. Nice selection of beverages for sale (wine, beer, water, soda). Pretty shared balcony. Decent but very small bathroom, closet, and TV.

rooms not sound proofed. I could hear a person stomping around upstairs, someone in flipflops flapping down the hall, doors opening and closing. the room had no cross ventilation so it was hot even with the door open. never saw the owners or staff.

Perfect way to finish our 8 day walk.

A great way to end our 8 day walk through the palatine forest: we sat in the afternoon sun and drank a bottle of Secco (that was available at the property). We were heartily welcomed by the owner.

Excellent, comfortable guesthouse

The room was lovely with excellent beds, a good shower and nice and cool in the warm weather. There is a spacious terrace where we could eat outside. There are pillows for the terrace chairs, so you can really relax there. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a large fridge. We bought some local wines at the guesthouse for a good price, a lovely service offered to the guests. The area is quiet, you can easily walk into the forest and up the hill. Free parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and recommend it full heartedly. Thank you!

Peaceful accomodation at the edge of the forest short walk from city center

Peaceful location at the edge of the forest, the center and all the wineries are just a short walk away. Great room with balkony with view on the lake, comfy beds, good shower. Very nice accomodation overall with shared kitchen, spacious terrace to have breakfast on the picnic tables in the sun early in the morning. Very friendly owner with lots of advise on local wines, bakeries, hiking etc.

Un beau week-end… et un bel adresse à retenir!

Nous sommes allés à plusieurs et avons pu avoir le nombre de chambres nécessaires pour tous les 12! Il y avait beaucoup d’autres locataires mais le vivre ensemble a été fluide

Il y avait un peu de bruit par d’autres locataires au-delà de 23h30 mais ça s’est calmé avant minuit

À deux pas de Wissembourg où on a pu decouvrir le marché de Noël, et donner un concert à l’église évangélique

Absolument époustouflant ! Nous étions là entre 12 amis et avons profité d’un appartement 7 adultes & 1 enfant, et 2 autres chambres. La cuisine et salle à manger nous ont permis de passer une soirée raclette ensemble.

Absolument rien - tout a été parfait! (…mais chut 🤫 il ne faut pas trop le faire connaître sinon il sera difficile de revenir une prochaine fois 😏🙂)

Nie wieder

Es war ein völliger Reinfall. Am Freitag Abend kam eine ganze Gruppe angereist, die bis 01:30 Uhr das Haus terrorisierten. Der hinzugerufene Vermieter kannte sich weder mit Ruhezeiten noch hatte er Mittel für Ruhe zu sorgen. Wir sind am nächsten Tag ABGEREIST und der Vermieter hat uns keinen Nachlass gewährt. Allein Booking hat uns unterstützt.

Die Lage am Ortsausgang. Man kann gleich los wandern. Balkon mit Blick auf den kl. See. EZ mit großem Bett

Hellhörig. Vor allem, wenn man Mitbewohner hat, die abends und bis in die Nacht laut sind. Da kann der Vermieter aber nichts dafür.

Preiswert und schön

Zimmer mit Balkon, alles sehr schön, sauber und ruhig; sehr ruhige Lage am Ortsrand bei einem kleinen See, sehr schöne Gemeinschaftsküche, die komplett ausgestattet ist und sogar eine befüllte Kaffeemaschine bietet. Ein gemeinsamer Aufenthaltsraum für mind. 20 Personen ist ebenso vorhanden wie mehrere Terrassen, Grillstelle, Spielplatz usw. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt, und durch die nutzbare Küche konnte ich mir selbst Frühstück und Abendessen machen. Der Vermieter war sehr nett und hat mir sogar einen überdachten Abstellplatz fürs Motorrad angeboten. Dort könnte man ohne weiteres mit einer größeren Gruppe hin. Die vielen Sitzgelegenheiten am, im und ums Haus sollten ermöglichen, dass man anderen Gästen nicht auf die Nerven geht.

Durch die Randlage muss man ca. 15 Minuten gehen, um in ein Restaurant zu kommen. Ich empfand das nicht schlimm.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, mit viel Natur und Weinbezug

Alles super organisiert und sofort zum Wohlfühlen. Schöne Aussenbereiche zum Sitzen und Verweilen. Gutes Weinangebot im Selbstbedienungskühlschrank. Mein Highlight die Eiswürfelmaschine, da bleibt der Wein immer kalt ! 👍

Würde jederzeit wieder dort übernachten, gerne auch länger.

Es fand kein persönlicher Kontakt statt, Schlüssel war aber mit freundlicher Botschaft wie beschrieben hinterlegt, sehr schön gelegene Unterkunft, mit Möglichkeit zum draußen sitzen, liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Küche und Aufenthaltsraum zur gemeinschaftlichen Nutzung, alles super ausgestattet.
