Beautiful location by the lake, close to all the local attractions and great hosts.

We were greeted with a cup of coffee and maps and brochures of things to do and see. Our hosts took time to tell us about the area and things to do. The bed was very comfortable and the room was freshened up each day with clean towels. Excellent service.
A choice of three breakfast types was offered and all were very good. You don’t leave feeling hungry that’s for sure.
The lighting was a little dim , for us anyway, but other than that it was great.

The hosts (Roger and Catherine) were extremely attentive, from the welcome drinks and snacks on arrival to providing lots of information on what to do in the area.
The room was spacious and comfortable with a sofa and patio overlooking their garden. A lovely home-made breakfast with 3 choices was served in their house with views across the lake. Use of the main terrace with lake views was allowed with swimming and use of the kayak also available.
The house was on the outskirts of Rotorua so it was quite a long walk into Rotorua town centre, but parking was plentiful there.

Parking area was tricky to access especially in the dark.
