Inn Sogdiana

Superbe hôtel à Panjakent, magnifique chambre avec belle salle de bain et lit confortable. Idéal pour visiter la ville, très proche des commerces, du musée de la ville, des restaurants... Très bon petit déjeuner à prendre en commun avec d'autres voyageurs autour d'une grande table. Le propriétaire et sa femme sont très sympathiques et serviables.

Pokoje nemají klimatizaci, jen větráky. Když je 35 st. ve stínu, v noci je vedro i při otevřených dveřích.

The owner is.very kind and helpful (he speaks good English). Facilities are great. Nice clean bathroom with soap. Breakfast is included and you have tea and coffee available all day (boiling water, too). The dorm has a fan in case it gets hot.

Your data will most likely not work in the building, but there is wifi. Location is a bit far from the center/bazaar (30min on foot) but I didn't mind because I wanted to see the 2 beautiful soviet murals just outside of the hostel anyway. There was a bit of a mess when I left because the owner called a taxi to take me to the border, but after waiting over 1hour it did not arrive. No biggie, you can take marshrutka 8 from there (on the main road) to the border or any taxi for 10 somoni.

Bad directions to take us there, hard to find, taxi was upset he couldnt find it after a long time. Not a very pleasant neighborhood. All very old and not well taken care of. Bathroom tiny with toilet and shower, no sink, all rusty and moldy.
