The location is very good, close to the praçinha but also not too far from the beaches and the Quadrado. The place is actually situated in a sort of gated corridor branching off of the main street though so it's actually very secluded and quiet. The place itself is also very clean and comfortable, has modern appliances, a good shower, and is very mosquito-free! The family that owns the place is also extremely friendly and understanding. I didn't see them much at all and they didn't bother me by any means but the interactions were always very positive when they did happen.

The only critiques I have are very small critiques. The gate to get to the property wasn't particularly easy to open or close (after a bit of time you get a knack for it) and there's a school across the street so at certain times of the day there's a bunch of kids walking around the street. Also, there are dishes in the place but it's a relatively basic set of dishes-- pots but no pan, silverware but no cutting knifes, no cutting board etc. Honestly, these things were not that big of a deal to me.
