Great place in the best home stay in Ubud.

Even though it is located in one of the main streets, with lots of traffic, it is very convenient to get any kind of ride or to walk to the popular sites and even though outside is pretty noisy, once you’ve entered Geriya House, it’s like entering a peaceful and quiet bubble. Nice and clean rooms surrounded by many plants that give the whole place a beautiful ambiance. Breakfast is very tasteful and the best part of staying here is the gorgeous family making sure you feel welcomed.

I had a wonderful stay at Geriya House. The family living in the compound is so welcoming and always ready to help, creating a homely and relaxed atmosphere. If you are interested, they are happy to share stories and teach you about Indonesian culture, which makes the experience even more special. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the setting is peaceful while still being close to everything you need. I would highly recommend Geriya House to anyone looking for a genuine and friendly stay in Ubud.

Peacefull and amazing

Everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations. The family’s greeting was very welcome and sweet. Room was more spacious than I expected, during the 2 week stay I had 2 additional cleaning. Breakfast was great and once I had to travel early, so they prepared lunch for me after the trip instead, very appreciated. Family was very welcoming, told me many local stories and I was invited to the owner’s birthday as well! I had many questions about the Bali culture and some more mundane like where to find some good restaurant, seamstress for fixing my dress. Mayun also showed me around some places and temples, told me some stories about it (full day of travelling cost me additional 200k IDE for fuel and time) - loved the private excursion. I was also conveniently offered to rent a scooter, I got pretty new Scoopy with a discount (90k/day). I am a remote worker, so most days since afternoon till late evening I had to work and did so comfortably in the terrace, where was light and additional electricity outlet, wifi worked mostly very well. The location is a little too far from main street to walk by foot (about 2km), but with the scooter everything was so quick and easy to reach. To add for other travellers, it is not a luxury villa, but for the price I received everything and amazing. If I am in Ubud again, I’ll definitely choose this place again. Thank you for everything!

The best family guest house i've stayed in

I felt very welcome here. Room was very comfortable. Clean and quiet. Family here is very friendly and will help you with everything you need and give you good tips. Their laundry service is good and fast. Right next to Alfa mart and couple really good fast food places. Great location to explore Ubud and other nearby areas. I would definately stay here again. The best value for money also.

I got locked outside the gate around 00:40 (and was given no warning or instructions how to enter night time). I had to make a lot of noise to wake up somebody and that wasn't comfortable for either of us.

Excellent, neat, clean and quiet room near the center of Ubud and very friendly owner.

It is a spacious and clean room with toilet and shower ensuite. The room was pre-cooled with aircon on at check in and the owner is super friendly. He helped me keep my luggage before and after the check-in and check-out and it was very kind of him. It is close to the main area of Ubud but quiet at night. So I had a very good sleep. The breakfast was also prepared fresh at 7am and it was delivered to my door step.

There were a few mosquitos in the room but they didn't bite me. They didn't bother me too much at night and I still had a good sleep. Perhaps it will be helpful to have a mosquito repellent in each room.

Aside from the noise due to its proximity to the road, there's not much to complain.

- There's a convenience store right at the entrance. - Shower gel is provided. - The number and placement of power outlets are good. - The breakfast is above the local average.

- It's a bit noisy being close to the road, and there are other sounds during the day. - No table provided. - No trash can. - There's a light quilt but no duvet cover.

We had an amazing time with Made and his familly. We really felt at home. One of our best moment in Bali. Made is full of wisdom.

Хоумстей расположен на въезде в Убудь. На входе магазин , что очень удобно. Каждое утро был весьма неплохой завтрак. Кондиционер включен у стоимость. Хозяева очень любезно помогли мне перевезти мои вещи в другое место на другом конце Убуда

Не очень приватно. Иногда слышно чем занимаются другие гости за стенкой) во дворе играют детишки, это нужно учитывать пои проживании в семье

Entregam só um papel higiênico pequeno por dia, sem reservas, então acaba rápido e as vezes você tem que racionar ou pedir mais quando está acabando. Os degraus do banheiro eram em localização pouco intuitiva, eu e meu marido quase caímos algumas vezes. Não tem box, então quando toma banho molha o vaso sanitário

Homestay très sympa, proche d'une grande route et pourtant très calme la nuit ! Les hôtes sont adorables, le petit déjeuner est très bon, la litterie est confortable, la chambre est propre. Très bon rapport qualité prix !
