Very beautiful homestay, friendly owners, clean, and great location.

We stayed here for 1 week and overall had a good experience. The owner mentioned that the place was recently renovated and reopened 3 months ago, which shows, as everything looks new and fresh. The bed was very comfortable, and the homestay itself is really cute and located not far from the main road. The view over the garden and river is amazing, and it was lovely to hear the sound of the river from the room. The family is very sweet and welcoming, which made the stay warm and personal. There is a rooster that starts around 4:30 am, but for us that wasn’t a problem. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved. The room had mold, and the bathroom especially needs better ventilation (a fan would really help since there is no air circulation at the moment). Considering the recent renovation, the mold returned surprisingly quickly. They also offer scooter rental for 100 per day. The scooters are new and in good condition, but the price is a bit higher compared to other places, and unfortunately, no helmets are provided. I would recommend lowering the rental price slightly and investing in proper helmets for guests’ safety.

The only downside for me personally was the grandmother, who seemed very focused on money and not particularly friendly toward foreigners, which felt a little uncomfortable at times. Overall, this is a lovely place with great potential, but I believe small improvements, like addressing the mold issue, adding a fan in the bathroom, and improving the scooter rental service would make the stay much better and help keep the homestay in good condition in the long run.
