Fabulous deep swimming pool and interiors

breakfast was not kept hot, and lacked variety for western tastes. Hot water was in the bathroom was inconsistent

We really loved the hotel's authentic Javanese design. Staying here felt like being in a movie, with its traditional architecture and unique atmosphere. The hotel is older, but that only adds to its charm and authenticity, so we didn't mind it at all. The staff were very kind and welcoming, making us feel at home. If you're looking for a hotel with character and a genuine local atmosphere rather than a modern chain hotel, this is a wonderful choice. We appreciated that the hotel prepared packed breakfasts for us when we had to leave early for our tours before breakfast was served.

Staff very nice, pleasant and helpful. General decor of the hotel excellent. Room large and comfortable.

One minor thing: at times it was tricky to get the shower water temperature consistent...

Gorgeous property.. nicely decorated.. the pool was in a gorgeous location on the middle of the open hotel. Beautiful black iron lighting and railing. Wooden anterior. Very old colonial charm
