Ich habe einen super schönen Aufenthalt im Ella Nature valley homestay gehabt. Vom Balkon hatte ich einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf ein Reisfeld und Bäumen. Der Gastgeber ist mega freundlich und aufmerksam. Abends habe ich jeweils die lokale Küche des Gastgebers genossen. Alles prima!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette guest house à Ella. La chambre familiale pour quatre personnes était confortable et parfaitement adaptée à nos besoins. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par toute la famille, qui a été d’une grande gentillesse tout au long de notre séjour. La vue sur les rizières depuis la propriété est très agréable et apporte beaucoup de charme à l’endroit. L’emplacement est également idéal pour découvrir les principaux sites d’intérêt autour d’Ella. Les repas étaient excellents, préparés avec soin, et le personnel a toujours été souriant, disponible et de très bon conseil pour organiser nos visites et répondre à nos questions. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter à tous ceux qui souhaitent découvrir Ella dans une ambiance authentique et chaleureuse. Merci encore pour votre accueil !

Beautiful surroundings, nice facilities and comfort beds, friendly helpful host family

e stayed at Ella Nature Valley Homestay for 3 nights, and it was the best decision of our trip. The Ganirmal family offers more than just a room; they offer a true home. The father, Priyantha, is a local pharmacist and paramedic, and his professional help was invaluable. When I faced a medical issue, he immediately arranged a specialist appointment at SEOS Hospital in Bandarawela. His son, Vihan, went above and beyond—he drove me to the hospital, stayed with me during the long wait, and managed all the clinic’s bureaucracy to ensure I was taken care of. Their dedication and kindness during a stressful time were truly remarkable. The accommodation consists of two private rooms built on the rooftop, providing a completely private space with a massive terrace. The view from the balcony over the vast rice and vegetable fields is incredibly peaceful. The family also has their own greenhouse where they grow fresh produce. Every morning, we were treated to a delicious and varied Sri Lankan breakfast, with different local flavors each day. Vihan was also a great guide, introducing us to local attractions and handling all our transportation needs. We felt like part of the family from day one. If you want to feel safe, cared for, and welcome in Ella, look no further than this place

It would be very helpful to provide a short explanation upon arrival regarding the instant water heater (adjusting flow for temperature) and the local electrical sockets, as they differ from those in many other countries. Eco-Friendly Suggestion: Since Ella is a great location for solar energy, installing some more solar panels would be a fantastic future upgrade. It aligns perfectly with the sustainable vibe of Ella and would ensure consistently hot water during those chilly mountain nights.
