8 / 10Excellent·Sep 2026
Rooms included ensuites and kitchenette and a balcony with a bit of a Seaview. Beds were very comfortable, lots of storage, beautiful wooden finishes. Great location to attractions, trains and local parks and shops.
Had narrow stairwells but staff were very accommodating and carried luggage up and on departure.

The location can’t be beat. It’s just a couple of minutes to the heart of things, but it’s also directly across the street from a wall, making the street it’s on feel quiet. The kids loved the bunk beds, which were nice and sturdy. Friendly staff and a lovely “garden” area (outdoor enclosed space with an awning over it and potted trees) for meals.
Not a ton of floor space in the room itself, but if your goal is to be out seeing the sights, that’s no problem. The locking mechanism on the door was a little tricky for us to figure out, but once we did it was fine.
