Great location, near Town, Beach and other sites of interest. House clean.

Outside equipment, furniture, sun loungers, parasols broken and in very poor condition. Not enough for our group, house meant to sleep 8 only 4 loungers, 2 of which were broken. 40 forks in the kitchen but only 10 knives ? Garden in very bad state, unable to use any area not patio or paved over. Noisy road right next to property. Only given 1 Key for the whole 2 week stay, the other key was left in the post box for the Electrician, Surveyor and Estate Agent use, so they could let themselves in while we weren't there as the owners were selling the House & in fact have now sold the property. When we arrived back from the beach one day the Estate Agent was already there & let herself into the house and informed us the house was sold that evening at 5 o'clock leaving us very worried as to what we were supposed to do for the rest of our stay. We had to pay residence tax for all 6 people in our group for the whole 14 nights, despite 4 of them only staying 7 nights. The hosts do not speak any English at all & my French is very basic, but still there was no instruction on waste collection, emergency contact details, or basic information, if your running a business renting your house the least you could do is write down these fundamental things in each language (google translate) for your guests. No fire or smake alarm or fire extinguisher in the house. The worst though was having to share the property & Garden with rats ! which would try to enter the house each evening if the doors were left open. The rats are probably in residence because the house & garden are generally neglected, again probably because the owners are selling/ now sold the house. Not the best Holiday in the world, would strongly think about taking a similar holiday again
