About this apartment rental
This studio apartment is in a Victorian cottage built in 1900. Although the apartment is in the basement, it gets lots of light through it's many (9) windows. It's 440 square foot footprint is comfortable for 1 or 2 people. The kitchen is outfitted with pots, pans, silverware and glassware. Because it is a basement unit it is not suitable for guests over 6'. The bathroom has a shower but no bathtub. Both the toilet and shower are elevated. The washer and dryer is accessible to the upstairs guests. The studio unit is private.
This house is 10 minutes to Seattle's Capitol Hill, Madrona and Madison Park neighborhoods and Downtown Seattle. Public transportation is 1 block away which makes it convenient to all that Seattle has to offer. Nearby amenities include a coffee shop, a restaurants, Central Cinema, supermarkets, a pilates/yoga studio.

It got everything we needed for our stay including a full kitchen and laundry room. Note that you have to go up and down steps to access the unit and bathroom. It has limited lighting and stays cool, but it was not a problem since our stay was during summer. Depending on the guests renting the ground level, you might hear lots of noise from upstairs such as kids stomping and crying. Location is great. Nice to walm around. 30 min walk to downtown or CID.

Everything was good. Just found the shower stall tight especially for big and tall folks. The mattress personally for me was too soft.

Great location with so much to do in the area it made for a very enjoyable trip. The place is an and older property, but it feels very homey. There are some low ceilings so if you’re super tall, it may not be a fit and the toilet is on a pedestal so make sure to look at the pictures for that. Loved the communication with the host they were super responsive through the whole process. Would definitely stay here again my next trip to Seattle
