Excellent location - close enough to Venice to easily visit but away from the crowds

It was an excellent base for visiting Venice which was a simple bus trip of about 20mins. It was very quiet, adequate-sized apartment with cooking facilities. Also close to what we thought was the best pizza place we experienced during our trip in Italy.

Great Base for Exploring Venice - Fantastic Hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay here in Mestre! While the hotel is not located directly in the historic center of Venice, the public transportation connections are excellent and make exploring incredibly easy. The tram stops right outside the building, taking you directly to the train station. The bus stop for buses to Venice island is also just a 5-minute walk away. A very kind and generous touch was that the host gave us two one-way bus tickets, which was greatly appreciated! The room was clean and comfortable. We also found a fantastic restaurant about 400 meters away that offered delicious and very affordable food - the pizza was especially amazing! We enjoyed it with a bottle of wine that was kindly provided by the host, which made for a perfect evening. Overall, this place offers excellent value. It's a practical, comfortable, and hospitable base for your Venetian adventure. Highly recommended!

Great place to visit Venice.

A great base to visit Venice, Verona, Lake Garda. You can take 6L bus to get to Venice (you get tickets upon arrival, but you need to buy return ones). The area is very multiculture. There is a huge supermarket PANORAMA 5 mins by car. Lovely that there is a parking spot in a closed area (not on a street). The apartment is clean.

Modern apartment. Very clean and comfortable. Very good connection to public transports. T2 tram almost on doorstep to reach Mestre every 20 min . Direct Bus service to Venice on time and regularly. Italian mainly speaking hosts friendly and helpful.

Wifi signal average in the living room but very weak in the bedroom.

Clean, good value, but a smidge far from Venice.

Clean, spacious, sufficiently equipped to cook basic meals, very easy to get to Venice by bus (18 to 20min ride, from end of line to the other end of the line, so no guessing when to get off), friendly to get the keys, a private parking space. The "welcome kit": a bottle of Prosecco, bottled water, and 1-way bus tickets to Venice.

The bus ride could seem long after a day of walking. Combined with waiting time, the round-trip could eat 1 hour of your day. The bed is okay-ish, the pull out couch, not so much.

*Extremely Uncomfortable Stay Due to Heat and Mosquitoes*

Clean and modern

Uncomfortable Stay – Serious Heat and Mosquito Problems We stayed in Flat 2 on the second floor and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. Major Issue – Heat and Mosquitoes: The most significant problem was the unbearable heat combined with a severe mosquito infestation. The flat was very warm when we arrived, and opening the windows to cool it down led to dozens of mosquitoes entering the space. There were no mosquito screens, and we were bitten extensively—over 50 bites between the two of us in just two nights. To make matters worse, the flat had an air conditioning unit, but no remote to operate it. We searched the flat and contacted the host, but received no response. With no ventilation and no way to cool the flat, sleeping was extremely uncomfortable. Other Issues: Communication at check-in was difficult as staff did not speak English, and we were unable to get help during our stay. Additionally, other guests had mentioned receiving free Venice transport tickets, but we were not given any, and there was no explanation or information provided. Overall, the lack of air conditioning, poor ventilation, and mosquito problem made this one of the most uncomfortable stays we’ve had.

The property was a really good size very clean and modern.

The only thing that comes to mind is that the overs didn’t work. We got around that easily but that’s the only thing I could say bad about this apartment.

First time in Venice

The bus to Venice itself leaves a 1-minute walk from the apartment. We got a one-way ticket for this bus for free.

It would be good if someone from the staff spoke English, because there were a few misunderstandings.

Very nice apartment just outside Venice. I’ll recommend it.

They let us check in earlier which was nice. Apartment was spotless with everything you need. Bus and tram, shops very close by.

Very small details, lift goes to level 1 and 2 but our flat was in a mid level so we had stairs, not too easy with a baby and a pram. Baby goes to bed early, the room was really bright because there is only light curtains.

check in was inconvenient. couldnt get in contact with the host and waited outside for a long time before someone showed up and we asked how we could check in. waited a bit longer for someone to arrive after that. place was clean and felt quite new but the furniture and decor were very dated.

Very nice and spatious apartment with private parking. Located in a calm neighborhood, with tram and bus stations nearby and a shopping center just few minutes away. The hosts even gave us bus tickets to Venice and there was a bottle of prosecco in the fridge!

The hosts don't speak English, but it wasn't a problem.

Perfect place

Perfect location for traveling by car. Bus 6L is a 3-minute walk and you are in Venice in 17 minutes. The apartment is very nice -modern, clean, with everything you need and kind hosts. I highly recommend this accommodation. Thanks a lot, Venice Loft!

Very spacious apartment. Very clean. The beds were comfortable. Big bathroom. Necesary kitchen utilities available. Refrigerator, fridge and microwave oven. Secured parking. Kind personal.

Lack of hangers in the bathroom for large towels and at the apartment entrance for coats. Only one roll of toilet paper available. I would recommend to install a small dishwasher in the kitchen. The apartment is not fully adjusted for "home working". Wifi connection/signal was quite OK in the morning, but not in the evening. Since the apartment is very spacious, a writing desk (a small office corner) would be very beneficial (for those who also work while travelling).

Nice apartment, but needs a mosquito net

The hosts arrived within 5 min of the call. We received 4 public transport tickets and the keys for the private parking area. The apartment was really clean and well designed. Both rooms had TVs (just Italian channels though). It was handy to have a small kitchen (would be nice to have a tea kettle instead of the small tea pot though). In general, it was a clean and comfortable apartment (except for one major thing)

As the weather was really hot at the end of October, the rooms were stuffy and we obviously needed to either open the windows or to use the AC in the evenings. We tried opening the windows but an army of mosquitos attacked us immediately. We wanted to use the AC instead however there was no remote controller available. When asking for one, the hosts said it is not the season for AC and gave us mosquito plug instead. So we had to survive 3 nights in a beautiful but airless/humid apartment. I would recommend the hosts to put mosquito net on the windows which is a cheap and easy solution of the problem.

The place was very clean and nice , bus stop is so close to the apartment.and they are so hospitable... There was one Istanbul kebab fastfood near there with good price and delicious foods.

The property is pretty close to most attractions, but far enough to require transport by car/bus. No stores nearby (~1km range)
