About this apartment rental
This 300m2 apartment from the XVII Century lived the Marchesa de Bica, an extraordinary lady that dedicated her live in prol of others. A gifted women in a time when in Portugal women were not seen as equals. She persevered in the domain of the arts and achieved a reputation amongst fellow artists. This apartment was renovated with charm and taste leaving some vestiges of ancient times. The restored stone arcades pavement in the Master bedroom from the VXII century amongst other reliques.

Please note that Internet works better in the Main Area due to the thick walls. At the office and living and dinning area you have better reception.
This is a family building Quiet Hours from 10 pm to 8 am Please Note that PARTIES ARE NOT ALLOWED MUSIC THAT IS PLAYED IN A HIGH VOLUME THAT MIGHT UPSET NEIGHBORS IS NOT ALLOWED We have strict policy on this point and if this is not comply a fine of 1000 Euros will be charged extra.
Several tram lines take you everywhere in the city. The train to the beaches is located 5 minutes away as well as the metro which links the whole city. The boat for the other shore is also 5 minutes away and the airport is only 15 minutes away.

The apartment was great! Spacious, clean, and had most everything we needed. It was in a great location as well! The communication was also quick and easy. My only piece of advice for the owners was regarding the primary shower. It leaked out onto the floor, so we ended up using our towels to dry it after each shower. Either more towels are needed, or figure out how to stop the leak. But it was a great place and we had a wonderful time!

Our place had so much character and in a really lively neighborhood. So sad we had to shorten our stay. Thank you so much for your warm welcome and assistance.

What an amazing property. Incredible location and restored beautifully so that we felt like we were Portuguese Royalty living our best life.
Great hot showers, large rooms and soft towels.

We stayed for about 21 days so had a full experience. Apartment was spacious and clean, property manager was great. Short comings include location was two floors over a busy brewery that was open until 2:00 in the morning, master bath not fully functional (toilet issues and shower drain), other two bathrooms had strong odor and had to buy air freshener units to manage odors. Apartment was very noisy most of the time as soundproofing was poor and upstairs neighbors were very loud.
