The grounds are lovely and on check in everyone was very friendly and helpful. Not to far from the airport but near a mall. The issues were that a lot of noise carries from room to room. We could clearly here home alone being played by the room next door. There was a very loud dog in the neighbours yard that would bark randomly throughout the night. Our biggest issue was when we asked for a taxi to be booked for 5:30am to the airport the next morning. I then confirmed this over the WhatsApp chat with the hotel in the evening. On the morning we spent 10minutes trying to find a guard or anyone who could at least open the gates as we were locked within the compound. I tried the WhatsApp number and no response. Eventually us trying to open the gate work the guard who came out but there was no taxi, I ended up quickly ordering an uber. I sent this to the hotel to say the taxi did not arrive and had no response. Clearly they are not interested in this. We have been travelling around ecuador a little while and this was the only issue we came across with a hotel.
