Beautiful property and chilled out garden. Lovely big breakfast too with friendly staff

The room was big and had plenty of space and natural light. They have a nice garden. Breakfast was good - fresh fruit, bread, cheese, ham, eggs cooked to order, coffee and juice. It is close to a mall and restaurants. The owner seemed nice. It was closer to the airport than other places in Quito I was considering.

My room was on the lower level, and I could hear people walking / talking above me, as well as people coming and going (it was close to the main reception area), as well as dogs barking nearby fairly late in the evening, so it wasn’t as quiet as I had hoped. Also, I was hoping to walk around the area a bit in the evening, but it was a mostly residential area on a dead end street that didn’t seem super walkable or well lit. (Perhaps check a Maps application beforehand). I stayed on a Monday and several restaurants I was hoping to try nearby were closed, and that was disappointing since most of the other places within easy walking distance were in the mall. There was a short stair / room divider (?) going into/out of the bathroom that I tripped on a few times.
