Hölzlhof

We stayed in this house for 3 days and would love to come back and stay longer next time. The scenery is beautiful, with amazing views all around. It’s only a 10-minute drive (and also walkable) from the main town, where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The house itself is so cosy and comfortable. There are 2 separate bedrooms, a big kitchen (for your own use) and a lovely living room. There are also some things for kids outside, like a trampoline and swings, which my son really enjoyed. The host was very friendly, although we struggled a little with the common language, most people in the area speak German. It’s a great base for driving around and exploring the Dolomites, but also a lovely place to simply stay in and relax. Very peaceful and in the most picturesque setting. We really enjoyed our stay!

La casa resta in posizione tranquilla, leggermente decentrata dal paese. L'ambiente è sereno e confortevole.

Non ho nulla da dire perché mi è piaciuto tutto

Appartamento dotato di tutti i comfort immerso nella natura, silenzioso e pieno di tanti animali bellissimi (mucche, tori, cavalli, gatti e un cane! Perfetto per chi come noi ama gli animali). Il proprietario ci ha accolti in modo molto amichevole e ci ha permesso di portare il nostro cane senza pagare un sovrapprezzo (cosa per niente scontata!). Nell'appartamento c'è tutto il necessario per cucinare, olio, sale, caffè, asciugamani e lenzuola pulite. Abbiamo passato un soggiorno molto piacevole e sicuramente ritorneremo.

The wonderful peaceful environment, a little bit far from the city. The owner is gentle and helpful.

Total lack of welcome accessories in the bathroom and in the kitchen, We would have welcomed find at least some soap in the bathroom to wash our hands on our arrival before unpacking our bags and a bottle of welcome water. We were very disappointed by the very superficial cleaning of the premises, which most likely were not sanitized. We need to ask the owner to change the bed-sheet where we found various hairs of different colors. Some old candy packet was forgotten under the couch and pieces of cookies under the living room table and mosquitoes smashed on the wall of the fridge. Wanting to pull the bed to the wall to prevent our baby from rolling down we discovered a considerable collection of dense decades-old cobwebs. No cleaning under the beds and behind the headboards of the bed. Being the rooms half-underground are quite humid and a mosquito net would have been appreciated at least in the kitchen to allow you to keep the window open without rinsing that numerous flies entered, and even cats waiting for food.
