Huset är otroligt charmigt inrett och man blir väldigt glad av att vara i det. Utsikten är fantastiskt! Amelia är en väldigt gullig och omtänksam värd som serverar en god frukost med hembakad kaka och marmelad. Hon kommer också med tips på vad man kan göra i området.

Casa Puccini is the perfect place to stay when visiting Maratea. Amelia has created a beautiful space at her bed & breakfast, the house is decorated thoughtfully and is situated so well. The view of the sea, wow!
The breakfast each morning is ideal with toast and marmalade (made by Amelia), coffee/tea, fruit, yogurt and cake etc.
I visited on foot by train and once I figured things out it was very doable to get around. There is a walking path next to the house (follow the red and white trail markers) and a municipal SITA bus to take you back up. The bus tickets can be purchased at the tourist centre. Make note of when the summer bus schedule begins as it will give you more options for places to visit, I visited at the end of June in 2025 and the summer bus schedule began on July 1. If on foot, check out the Mare Morto and Cala Tunnara rocky beaches. You can reach these by walking down to the port and from there it is a short 10-15 minute walk.
Amelia herself is so kind, welcoming and fun! I’m very happy to have stayed at Casa Puccini.

Nuestra estancia en este alojamiento fue simplemente maravillosa. La anfitriona, Amelia, fue excepcional desde el primer momento: atenta, cálida y siempre dispuesta a hacernos sentir como en casa. Cada mañana nos sorprendía con un desayuno casero increíble, lleno de delicias hechas por ella misma —sus dulces son inolvidables.
El lugar está rodeado de naturaleza, con un jardín lleno de flores, tranquilidad absoluta y unas vistas que te dejan sin palabras. Es el sitio perfecto para descansar, desconectar y conectar con lo esencial.
Mi Nonna quedó encantada; sé que lo llevará en el corazón para siempre. Un lugar que no solo se visita, se siente. ¡Gracias, Amelia!
