Perfect location in a wonderful part of the world.

Perfect location, right on the edge of the lake, free parking and access to a nice warm swimming pool and private garden on the lake. Thomas called us before we arrived, spoke perfect English and gave us all of the information required for a smooth and easy check-in.

Superb

The property was really well equipped. We had everything we needed there and it was spotlessly clean. The best part was having breakfasts on the balcony overlooking picturesque mountains!

There was one misunderstanding with our checkout. Since we booked our stay on Booking.com it clearly said that our checkout time was 11:00 but actually they expected us to leave at 10:00. The cleaning staff came at 9:45 and asked us to start packing. It was very disappointing since we had to wake up our baby that we had just put for her morning nap and hurry up with our packing :/

A great place to stay, quiet, with a nice balcony view of the nearby peaks.

A nice, clean apartment. Walchensee is beautiful, the same is true of the whole nearby Karwendel region.

The nearby grocery store offers only basic food items, also local restaurants close relatively early in the evening, so one needs to plan accordingly.

Hätte alles etwas sauber sein können. Besen und Handfeger sind auch nicht mehr im besten Zustand.

Eine andere Unterkunft , ich komme gerne wieder an den Walchensee .

Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet , sie ist sehr modern .

Badewanne mit Scheibe ist nicht gut gelungen . Der Dachvorbau ist praktisch bei Regen aber macht die Wohnung sehr dunkel . Der Pool im Keller ist unzumutbar, es stinkt , die Bewegungsmelder funktionieren nicht rechtzeitig man steht im Wasser im dunklen .

Sehr gute Ferienwohnung

Die Ferienwohnung liegt in einem Haus am See. Allerdings führt die Durchgangstraße durch Walchensee daran vorbei, so dass ich dringend empfehle, eine Wohnung nach hinten raus zu nehmen (Bergblick). Dort ist es dann sehr ruhig. Man hat aber eben leider keinen Blick auf den See. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt. Alles ist neuwertig - Möbel, Betten, Böden (Parkett). Man kann sich dort rundum wohlfühlen.

Der Ort Walchensee hat uns nicht gefallen. Er besteht mehr oder weniger aus einer Durchgangstraße, an der ein paar Hotels und Gaststätten liegen. Und die Gaststätten sind, mit Ausnahme des Wallert, nicht gut. Und Fisch aus dem See wie auf mancher Restaurant-Website angekündigt, gibt es auch nicht! Das einzige vermutlich gute Restaurant, das Wallert, ist aber keine wirkliche Alternative, weil es sehr, sehr hochpreisig ist und man gezwungen wird, abends ein teures Menü zu nehmen (tagsüber gibt es den günstigeren Biergarten - der kommt aber nur bei gutem Wetter infrage). Es fehlt also definitiv ein wirklich gut bürgerliches Restaurant, das diese Bezeichnung verdient.

schöner Aufenthalt!!!!

Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hat im Telefonat alles sorgfältig erklärt. Die Wohnung liegt sehr nah zum See und hat einen Swimmingpool sowie Sauna im Keller.

Einige Gläser im Schrank sind leider nicht so sauber:(
